Hi all, I recently had a FET abandoned because of a 5cm endometrioma on my ovary, (never had one before) it started causing me pain when I started my estrogen (nothing major just dull aches). My nurse said to me I should wait to see if it goes with my period. My period never came and I was given norethisterone to bring it on.
2 month later I had my bleed and went back and it’s still there, a different nurse and the gynaecologist said in their opinion I could/should still continue with the FET as it shouldn’t have any impact on implantation. Aside from feeling like I’ve wasted time and hearing 2 different things I’m now sceptical about going ahead with it. Has anyone had a transfer with an endometrioma? Successful or not and if successful did it impact pregnancy?
My clinic is great but I feel when your driven by emotion you can’t make clear decisions 😩.
Thanks In advance

Hi Kgee. having a FET on a natural cycle, hopefully won't have any impact on the endometrioma, just when medication is involved. If it is persistant, then they may suggest removing it before proceeding. Good luck! Diane
This is my worry as they have started me on the medication again because my last month was so messed up. 😩 they said they wouldn’t be able to rely on ovulation tracking. I’ve been on progynova for 3 days now and it’s just all playing on my mind
I had an endometria ponction before starting my ivf , they had no choice because it's was measuring 6 cm and the drugs would make it bigger. The problem is my AMH was high 6.9 (that's how I was diagnosd with pcos ) but after months I did an AMH test again and it drops to 2.9 , I was so worried but my doctor didn't seem to care about it. So before doing the surgery you should ask if this can affect your ovary
Oh no 😩. Well I’m shocked that they insisted I do a medicated cycle as I’m pretty sure the last cancelled medicated cycle is why it was causing issues in the first place. Thanks for your reply
