Change of HRT due to shortages
Hi, I've recently had to change from using 2 pumps of oestrogel gel to 1 spray of lenzetto because the pharmacy couldn't source any oestrogel. Is this the right amount as am not sleeping so well and am getting very hot at night? Should I increase the number of sprays? Thanks

ADT and mental issues
I have done a dozen ADT sessions (4 weeks to 5 months). Each time I used a low or high-dose estrogen patch. I did one in January/March and did not use an estrogen patch. So my testosterone was close to zero as well as my estrogen. I have never had mental issues when I did ADT. This time I did. Depression

Cyclogest or utrogestan??
Hi all, it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here. We are currently pursuing egg donation and are hopefully going to be matched with a donor very soon! 🤞🏼🤞🏼 It may seem a silly question but our clinics pharmacy has prescribed us utrogestan and estradiol for my progesterone and estrogen medicine

Oral vs transdermal estrogen
It´s often said that transdermal estrogen is safer as it is not metabolised by the liver. However, this article claims that oral estrogen is more cardio-protective: https://www.hormonedoc.net/files/2019/01/WLM-rouzier-editorial-for-part-1-email-1.pdf It states that the risks of oral estrogen are related

Do you lower your dose of estrogen (progynova) after FET?
For an FET - I’ve always continued on the same does of estrogen (progynova) from my first scan until pregnancy test. I’ve read a couple of blogs that suggest estrogen dose is lowered after transfer? Does anyone do that? Yes/no? Thanks ❤️

Advice - visiting friend with new baby
Hi all, I was just hoping for a bit of advice here. I’m off to visit a really good friend today who had a baby last week and really struggling with my emotions about it. My nhs endo is adamant that I’m depressed and it’s not my thyroid
I sent my latest test results to my endo and he wrote back today. Essentially he told me there’s nothing wrong with my thyroid or my pituitary and that I should seriously consider that I’m just depressed and that I should buy a blood glucose monitor and treat the adrenaline/blood glucose drops with a

Cancelled Medicated FET due to cyst producing low levels of progesterone - is it really necessary to cancel?
Hi All, I've just been told by my clinic they want to cancel my programmed FET as at my baseline scan yesterday there was still a small cyst (12mm) on my left ovary and they took progesterone and oestrogen bloods to be sure it was ok but its come back as progesterone 3.3 nmols and E2 99. I queried it

Start Over or Decrease Dose
The labs below are for 2 grains of NP Thyroid tested about 10 hours after my dose. I see an Integrative doctor and we are not agreeing on the next step . I definitely felt overmedicated. I was emotional, looked and felt horrible, and felt like I was starving all the time, so I believe I need to lower

Reference Ranges
Good morning! I am sure I'm overlooking this resource, but I can't seem to find an easy-to-read reference range for thyroid testing. I've checked NICE and the American College of Endocrinology (I'm in the US), but I can't seem to find it. My doctor's appointment is tomorrow so I made a list of everything

Anyone concieved whilst taking hrt
Hi lovely ladies. I just wanted some help. I'm 44 and menopausal but strangely I have zero symptoms of menopause apart from absent periods. I have started taking hrt oestrogen gel and Utrogestan progesterone which to induce a monthly bleed. Is there a chance I can still concieve?

Post-menopause bleeding aged 51. Help. 😞
Can anyone relate please? I’ve had endometriosis all my life, and it’s been excruciating and debilitating and basically ruined my world. I’m 51 now and actually went out to celebrate being officially menopausal as my periods disappeared TOTALLY for 13 months. I’ve recently had a bout of gastro upset

Decapeptyl and norethisterone together
Hello - I’m into my seventh week of the decapeptyl treatment to shrink fibroids. I was having profuse bleeding so I was out back into norethisterone which has stopped the bleeding. My gynaecologist is brilliant however is this strange that it’s ok to take norethisterone since it’s a hormone and they

New symptoms
Hi everyone. I've had IBS forever. Over 30 years. I also have GERD. I started the FODMAP diet over a year ago, sorted out what upsets my stomach and I was happy with that. I've recently started being woken in the night with gas pains and loose stools then felt awful all of the next day. I've recently
