Can anyone relate please? I’ve had endometriosis all my life, and it’s been excruciating and debilitating and basically ruined my world. I’m 51 now and actually went out to celebrate being officially menopausal as my periods disappeared TOTALLY for 13 months. I’ve recently had a bout of gastro upset and my period came back at the same time. (Co-incidental??) That was a shocker. I’m going to get tested asap as I know it’s not normal, but can anyone out there help? I’ve been bleeding for last three days with cramps and with my history I need to rule out anything more serious as soon as I can. I’ve been completely pain and blood free for so long that this has come as an upsetting shock. Last time I had an ultrasound I was told I had a small fibroid in my uterine lining. Could this be causing a period now after all this time? Feels like normal period pain not uterine based? I’m not on any HRT due to worry of reactivating oestrogen and endometriosis lesions. Any advice or experiences welcome! 😌 Nina.

😏 I’m so sorry..bleeding after menopause is reached is the last thing you expect. It’s possible the heavy bleeding is due to a Polyp..but of course investigation is needed first, I hope you get an appointment asap..
