Do you lower your dose of estrogen (progynova) after FET?

For an FET - I’ve always continued on the same does of estrogen (progynova) from my first scan until pregnancy test. I’ve read a couple of blogs that suggest estrogen dose is lowered after transfer? Does anyone do that? Yes/no?

Hi Patches 86, I am currently in my 3rd FET and all 3 times I was advised to continue the estrogen meds (progynova and patches for me) as it was throughout the build up, so not lowering them at all. I think you want to keep the hormones as steady as possible after transfer to support a possible pregnancy.

Nope! Stay on the same doses until 12 weeks normally xx

Hey! Mine was increased 5 and 6 days before FET and after FET it remained unchanged. Further instruction I will receive on test day. On the day of the FET I have tested my progesteron levels and based on the result the dose was increased. Good luck!
