How long does it take for estrogen patch to take away hot flashes?
I've been on the estrogen patch (generic
Estradiol
0.075mg patch for over 2 and 1/2 weeks now. I was given this because I'm having severe hot flashes due to having no estrogen because I am anorexic and therefore my pituitary won't produce estrogen in this state.

Androstenedione & Frailty
When I became interested in using testosterone [T] to manage PCa 19 years ago, the obvious source was andro, a T precursor, plus chrysin, an aromatase inhibitor that prevents T conversion to
estradiol
[E2]. In the U.S., one could buy andro in any health store.

Ready to trigger but blood markers a concern
Edit just in case anyone has the same and comes across this post:
In the afternoon the nurse called to say my blood markers are looking a lot better. Oestradiol now at over 4000 (up from 2000) and LH looking better. This is the second time I've found myself spiralling over something that then

Next FET after failed transfer
I stopped taking progesterone and
estradiol
on Monday, haven't start bleeding but I can feel it "near". When did you have the next transfer? I'm having a follow-up appointment in 2,5 weeks.

Just a quick update, Endo appointment 👿
went to Royal Liverpool Endo dept , was hoping to see the consultant who is on TUK Uk list. Unfortunately this did not happen, the person I saw was less than helpful, see I can be tactful, sometimes. Introduced herself as diabetes consultant and she lived up to that name. The first thing she said

PSA suppression
It's a synthetic estrogen that maintains bone health even while
estradiol
falls to zero. And it has anti-PCa properties. The reason why DES was phased out is that oral estrogens increase the risk of life-threatening blood clots. I take a very high dose of nattokinase to keep D-dimer low.

Grapefruit
Hello everyone Does anyone know if grapefruit juice interferes with T4/T3 uptake? I know if someone is on statins it has to be avoided I know to avoid Biotin before blood tests but is Nicotimamide ok? Finally has anyone successfully lowered their cholesterol without statins while on T4/T3, I really

A little update
Hi all, I just thought I'd give a little update as I've not posted here in about a year and just possibly my experience may be of interest. I am not in ANY way invalidating anyone else's condition or treatment, this is just my story. For years I have struggled with low mood, lacking 'oomph' in life.

Update on my Estradiol experiment
Also in April, I restarted my experiment with
Estradiol
patches as a treatment for osteoporosis and ADT SEs. I started on one 0.25 patch twice per week. Today was 6 weeks and I had
Estradiol
and Testosterone blood tests.

Cortisol/DHEA results
Note: Supplementation with DHEA may increase testosterone and/or
estradiol
levels I wasn't sure what HPA axis dysfunction meant (Googled but none the wiser) Should I speak to my GP regarding this, or take supplements/medication? Advice much appreciated

Cyst delaying ivf - any experiences?
Has anyone had an ovarian cyst delay your ivf cycle? Looking for anyone to share their experiences, specifically how long did the cyst take to go away and what did you do to help it reduce? I’ve been doing down regulation for two weeks now, had my baseline scan last Friday 26/04 when I was suppose
