Issues with new packaging of Besins Oestrogel?
Besins Oestrogel has a new bottle. Might be a coincidence but since using it my sleep has gotten worse. I’m getting more tingling and numbness in my fingers and toes. Concentration is worse. Also increased issues down below. I don’t know if it’s the concentration of oestradiol being dispensed or maybe

Progynova blues
I'm on day 8 of progynova estradiol tablets (3 x 2mg daily) for a modified frozen cycle and feeling..... meh. I've been feeling ok apart from a few headaches but yesterday the blues hit hard and I just feel so disconnected and like I don't care about anything. I have been feeling so bored and unmotivated

Progesterone and oestradiol levels before transfer - can they be too high?
Hi Does anyone know what progesterone (nmol/L) and oestradiol (pmol/L) levels should be for a frozen transfer? I've just had an ERA and had these measured that day to help inform for the real transfer, whenever that might be! I know the progesterone in particular must not be too low. Mine seemed quite

some advice whilst on Estradiol!
Hi all, just wanted to come on here and share my thoughts. Due to have a FET W/C 6th March and the clinic have put me on estradiol. You’re meant to start this on your first day of period but Iv found that my period is like really light, very light brown which normally 3 days in I would be bleeding

A long post - How medication was ruining my life, not making me better! Reassurance for anyone concerned about stopping medication.
Hi ladies. A very Happy New Year to you all! I am hoping that 2023 treats you all with improved health and a wealth of happiness. I have seen a lot of posts recently appearing on my feed regarding treatments and hormones, and so I just wanted to share my recent experience of stopping all treatments.

Dienogest vs Zoladex
Hi Everyone, I have stage 4 endometriosis and Thoracic Endometriosis. It’s in my pleura adjacent to my vena cava and several places on my diaphragm. I’m on the mirena coil since December 2021 and was taking the progesterone only pill (cerazette) on top for the last couple of months. I became pregnant

Estrogen Receptors
New study below [1]. At the time I was diagnosed (2004), there was enough research on the 'new' estrogen receptor [ERbeta], to cause concern. At diagnosis, ERbeta has generally become downregulated. In contrast, ERalpha, which is otherwise restricted to stromal cells, starts to appear in PCa (epithelial

Can menopause trigger hypothyroidism?
When I turned 50 (few years ago now) over a few months my health changed, I developed weakness, brain fog, insomnia, heat intolerance, poor appetite, joint aches, atrophy etc etc. I even stopped exercising when I had been reasonably fit before. GP sent off some bloods and called me within days to start

Dienogest and the coil
Hi everyone, My doctor prescribed me Dienogest for endo pain and said it was fine to take it even though I have a mirena coil. However, in the leaflet it says not to take it if you have a coil… does anyone have any idea? I ask because my moods have been all over the place and I wonder if it’s because

Thin womb lining at D8 scan
Hi All, I haven’t posted on here for a little while as my last cycle was cancelled. I didn’t respond well to the stims 😔 Trying again this month but although I have 3 follicles on D8 (I have low AMH so I don’t respond well anyway), now my womb lining is too thin at 5.4mm. I’m taking aspirin and dr is

dienogest!? Advice needed please xx
I had an appointment today with my endo consultant, he’s suggested I start taking Dienogest,he said it’s relatively new in the UK but medical data suggests to can work. Have any of you tried it? From what I can see online there’s mixed reviews so I’m not sure what to do for the best.

Fluctuating AMH Levels and then huge decline in one year.
Hi, I am just interested in whether anyone has been in a similar position. I am 34. I had my AMH and AFC tested 3 months before I turned 34. My AFC was good at 19 but my AMH was low for my age at 8.9. Two weeks later, I got my AMH retested and it was 6.2. I thought AMH wasn’t meant to change that much

Vertebral Fractures [VF]
New study from the Netherlands, below [1]. One would expect bone issues with ADT, since near-zero testosterone equates to near-zero estradiol. When estradiol goes below 12 pg/mL (my limit, based on old non-PCa studies), bone loss can be rapid. But this study looked at men who were about to start ADT

anything different to do after another failed fet?
hi all, this is my first post here. Sadly I received the news that my 3rd fet cycle failed today. My clinic has changed the protocol of each cycle with this one being more intense I.e. short down regulation (about 2 weeks) with buserline for mild ademiosis, lubion + pessaries for progestrone, patches
