Just received my recent blood test results and needless to say that I'm thrilled with the numbers! Still, the ONLY side effect is some degree of gynecomastia which isn't a big deal since I'm still able to do my gym routine five nights/week plus doing 4 sets of 18 rep pull-ups (2 with hands facing forward two feet apart, and 2 with hands in the curl position) during the day. After my last blood test about three months ago I reduced my gel applications by about 20% and will now reduce them even further.
This gel so far is performing its 'magic' after three unsuccessful surgeries...many thanks to my mentor Professor Richard J. Wassersug!

Great news!! Still in the LuPSMA trial at Dana Farber. Should be finished by end of September. Every 3 months I get a Lupron shot as well. Talked to my regular MO about topical E2. He said he would agree to work with me in that regards. We didn't discuss the particulars but I presume he would recommend Lupron and topical E2. Not untill after the trial is over. I hike each morning, should incorporate some upper body exercise.
Thank you for your reply. The "boobies" don't really bother me since I only wear short sleeve button shirts which pretty much cover them. Even though I live in a tropical climate I never go out shirtless. They grew a bit during the first year of E2 use; however, I haven't noticed any additional growth in the last 3 years.
Thats great ronron! Your an inspiration.I just recently started on lupron and darolutamide. Im mitigating the SE, with exercise Vit D/k2, and Osterine and Carderine. I feel great as long as i remember to take my vit D/k2.
Lol. The long tassel type I hope. Better add in some nipple rouge and fashionable nipple rings too. ( A gold chain between the left and right sides for an interesting effect … or chain to your nose ring. ) .
Oh !! … I didn’t know you were talking about the room full of ….ah …. er …… “ appliances “ in my basement… similar to a home gym but it’s a room full of appliances bought up in “ the Castro “ . Got it.
I wear my wallet in my right hip pocket and the open primary chain on my hog, like all big bore hogs, is on the left side. It didn’t take long for “ brothers “ to figure that one out, I can tell you … yayahahahaya. Put your freshly cashed Friday check in your wallet and you’re broke by the time you get to the bar. I hate it when that happens . Forces you to stop by the liquor store over on 16th street and make a fast cash withdrawal.
It’s better than what the hammer puts in my food … the head doctor over at Kaiser ER and I are old friends now. That charcoal is awful too. Yayahahahaya
That's great Ron! I've been doing low dose e2 in patch or pill form for about 2.5 years in addition to Lupron. The e2 makes such a difference with hot flashes, mood, brain fog, and sleep. I have been reluctant to try high dose instead of Lupron, but it has occurred to me recently that I want to try high dose in addition to Lupron. Maybe in a bat like format like I've seen another brother on this forum try with DES. I have seen papers that indicate that e2 can be anti cancer in addition to adt. I have been crpc probably about 2 years, and zytiga and a zap to a spine met have been holding for the last 3 months. I hope the zytiga lasts for years, but my back is starting to feel funky again. I am ready to try something "off the range" as my uro says.
I'm pretty sure one of my docs will go for it. Hell, I've had enough Lupton that my t may never come back on its own.
Ron, question here. With T @ 50 and E2 @ 104, the testosterone and estradiol ratio seems out of whack. You must be packing in visceral fat while maintaining an undectable PSA according to conventional research. Is this correct?
According to what I've read on the Internet, a scan for "visceral Fat" is quite expensive. A simple but crude test is to measure your waist at your belly button. My measurement is between 33 and 34 inches which is well below what a normal 'Asian' man's should be and I am caucasian. I've talked with Richard Wassersug and my doctor about these weird numbers and they are puzzled. My blood pressure and cholesterol have always been normal and I feel fine. I have also read that DES/estrogen/estradiol therapy can sometimes help to kill prostate cancer cells. Since I started applying E2 four years ago most of my T levels have been above the castration level of 50. I have had these confusing numbers for a couple of years now. Thanks for your concern and what you think may be causing these numbers to be out of whack.
I wonder if TA or Patrick has an opinion about this?
