What should my next steps be?

I've just had my first laparoscopy on Friday, they didn't find endometriosis. It's not something I want to have, I don't want endometriosis but I have all the symptoms. I think even the gynecologist was confused that she didn't find anything. I've been on dienogest for almost 3 months which has helped. The nurses on the ward kept saying "there's nothing wrong with you" and kept asking why I was crying. I just feel lost, it would have made sense if they found endometriosis. I don't really know what to do next. If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated ❤️

Thousands of people have gone through exactly this. Most who have a laparoscopy and wake up to be told that endo was found are actually happy and relieved, because it's validation after searching for answers for so long! So you're not alone, but I'm sorry you're going through this.

Was your lap done by a specialist at a BSGE centre or just a gynaecologist at your local hospital? Non-specialist gynaes can easily miss endo if they don't know what to look for. Also, did you have any scans beforehand?

I'm sorry you were treated that way by nurses. We're you with a specialist? If not I'd recommend going to ur GP and asking to be sent to a specialist
