Spinal fluid?
Yesterday they gave him an
epidural
and took samples of spinal fluid which they had trouble finding so Martin feels sore like a pin cushion now. They haven’t let him get out of bed since. Does anyone have any idea what they might be looking for, or indeed trying to rule out?

Episiotomy and foreceps without consent
I had an
epidural
on arrival at 5pm and started pushing at 1am at 10cm. At 2.26pm my daughter was born via forceps and unbeknown to me an episiotomy had been performed. She was taken away for nearly 2 hours while I was stitched up, I wasn't allowed skin to skin.

Does anyone have any thoughts on an alternative to radiation to the spine (2nd time around)?
Persistent extensive extraosseous involvement of the spinal canal from L5-S2 characterized by circumferential involvement of the
epidural
space by metastatic soft tissue which severely narrows the spinal canal and encases the exiting bilateral S1, bilateral S2, and right S3 nerve roots as they traverse

Covid Vaccine, would you have it? Fibromyalgia reasons
I was just recovering from an
epidural
I had three years ago, only to be bedridden by the flu jab. I'd never had issues with the flu jab before. Would this be grounds for refusing the Vaccine? I've been isolating from March. Just wondered what your views are. Update...

Epidural in lower back
I had an
epidural
in lower back on the 15th December to treat pain due to bulging disc sitting near the nerve. It’s yet to kick in or it hasn’t worked, how long does it normally take to feel better?

Diabetes, He had gotten an
epidural
for his back problem (which gives him, one month of pain relief) but it drove his blood sugar up extremely high, and in addition to all this #4. 3rd stage Chronic Kidney disease.

C-section vs natural birth existing hip problems
I had a physio assessment last week and they have said I only have 25-30% mobility therefore any assisted delivery would have to go straight to section and I wouldn’t be able to have an
epidural
incase more damage was done to my hip as I wouldn’t be able to tell them it was sore.

What a difference a tube makes...24 little centimetres (Supra pubic Catheter) !
The anesthetist gave J a spinal anesthetic, instead of a general, which was basically a less invasive form of
epidural
which J had had when giving birth to our son. It worked well and took less time to recover from.

MRI nervous wreck
No evidence of enhancing
epidural
soft tissue component. 4. Multilevel degenerate is in the lumbar spine as described above, more pronounced at L4-L5 level with resultant mild-to-moderate bilateral neural foraminal stenosis at this level. No evidence of significant spinal canal stenosis.

Epidural tumor
Hi there I have
epidural
tumor at level T5-T6 showing mild cord compression. I understand it has been ‘stable’ for a year. They are recommending radiation to the area. Any of you with
epidural
tumors? What have you had done ? If radiation ... what type of radiation ? Thank you ! Jo
