Endometrial Ablation
Hi there. I'm booked in for E A next month and would like to know of any experiences people have had. I'm 36 and have had trouble my entire pubescent < life with endo symptoms with no actual endo, bleed for 2 weeks every month. Highly frustrating especially since no contras work (I've tried them ALL)

Now prescribed Amiodarone
Just seen my cardiologist today who has now prescribed Amiodarone. He did discuss AV node ablation but wanted to try this medication first, I took Flecainide for 20+ years and then Sotalol in the last year. Having had a TIA at the end of August as a consequence of my AF I am now on Apixabam and my cardiologist

Some advice please xx
Hi hoping somebody could maybe help me out here where doctors can't. I've had wpw and svt since I was born but only became symptomatic at the age of around 5 I think, I am now 16 and this year 6 months I got the catheter ablation done. Everything went well but afterwards I started having skipped beats

AV Node Ablation
Well folks I'm back! So after nearly 5 years of AF, AFlutter, Bradycardia and Tachycardia as well as a Pacemaker insertion, 2 RF Ablations and 1 Cardioversion, as well as a stroke and a TIA including 4 stents. I am pleased to say it is ten days since the AV node ablation. I can say that is the best

Should I Ablate ?
I have now visited my EP and have received a thorough report from him. He has left the decision to me if I want to go ahead with the procedure . The waiting time would be about two-three month . I am 72 with underlying heart conditions , but very active in the gym and tennis player . 1. He does not

First post from yet another fearful afibber (lone longstanding persistent) facing an ablation!
So much to say and so much to ask – not sure where to start! First though, thank you all for just being here. I have lurked since discovering you soon after my diagnosis 10 months ago and have learnt so much. It has been comforting (especially as I live alone and have no immediate supportive family

Atypical left atrial flutter post-ablation
Feeling much, much better after ablation three months ago, but EP thinks I may have developed the above condition. I finally found an article {see abstract below} which gives some insight into what he was saying at my follow-up appointment. It is not definite and I am having to have more tests

AFIB and Breo Inhaler
Hi: I had cardiac ablation 6 weeks ago and have suddenly developed breathing problems. I went to a pulmonary doctor this morning and she has prescribed Breo Ellipta inhaler. Is there anyone here who is using this medication? Should I worry about going back into AFIB on this? Thank you :)
