Hi everyone I’m new to this community. I’m wondering if anyone is having slight breathing problems when having a cold after having PE twice.
I had unprovoked pulmonary
embolism
in September 2016 ,treated with 3 months of heparin injections. In July 2017 I had another one. Now I’m on lifelong Warfarin. My life /lungs never been the same again. When it was diagnosed I had shortness of breath on any physical activity.

Presence of a lupus anticoagulant may explain prolonged activated partial-thromboplastin time in COVID-19
Pulmonary

was confirmed in 1 patient, and clinically suspected thrombosis was present in 1 patient. None of the patients had deficiencies in factor VIII or factor IX. In 5 patients, marginal reductions in factor XI were found that were unlikely to be of clinical significance.

Not sure how they're going to help
Hi guys, sorry to ask more questions! But you guys know far more than anyone else! I've had an ultrasound 2 days ago so just waiting for the results to this. I'm also being tested for thrombophilia as they are reluctant to put me on the pill due to a relative having a clot. I'm worried that I'm going

Pulmonary embolism
I got diagnosed with a pulmonary
embolism
two weeks ago after my asthma had been bad, they initially thought it was a chest infection! Now on apixaban blood thinner, had a stomach bleed on Christmas Day, but ok now. How long does it take for a PE to resolve?

Hi everyone! I’m new here... diagnosed with APS in 2011, alongside UCTD. Fast forward to 2018 and I was tested at the recurrent miscarriage clinic but the APS blood tests came back negative (twice). I wasn’t told that this could happen and it doesn’t affect your diagnosis but my gynaecologist was basically

Life is a Wonderful Thing
Sadly it didn’t end there as I suffered a pulmonary
embolism
which very nearly finished me off, hydrocephalus and a VP shunt fitted and had a massive internal bleed in my bowel. 5 years on I’m a million miles away from where I was but I’m still here though!!!

Returned cancer in Liver
However, her liver cancer returned this past Fall and she underwent chemo
embolism
which was 90% successful. There is still a very tiny trace of cancer, so they are going to do another chemo
embolism
and are even considering beam radiation.

Anxiety After Pulmonary Embolism
Hi All, I have had two provoked PE’s and if I even get a cold and have trouble breathing or an increased heart rate, I panic. I am in therapy and on Zoloft because I am nursing and that’s pretty much my only option. Has this happened to anyone?

Heart Palpitations driving me crazy
About two years ago I had a pulmonary
embolism
, and a year ago I had endocarditis. Needless to say, I'm pretty anxious. However, the last year or so I've developed these episodes of arrhythmia. Summer of 2018, I could run 8 miles a day.

Chest pain from GERD that causes anxiety
They also discovered that I had a pulmonary
embolism
(PE) in my lung. The diagnosis at the moment is that the PE might have caused the MI or the MI caused the PE. I had a angiogram cancelled in December due to a bleed at my eye from the increased blood thinners.
