Finding myself in Tottenham one bleak afternoon to escape the blustering weather I retreated into a local cafe and was shocked to be seated next to the Russian chess legend that is Gary Kasparov playing a match with a friend.
Noticing I didn’t have any accrudiments on my table I politely asked if he could pass over the salt n pepper….. only took the bugger 26 minutes!
😂😂😂
Stay safe all, massive flu outbreak in Chichester where I’m still confined in hospital with a trapped lung and repeated effusions.

Checkmate MrB!Last time I played chess I tried to lose as many pieces as quickly as I could, in order to reduce the number of options I had. I much prefer arranging flowers in a vase.
Yes hospitals are seemingly awash with flu. Roll on St Valentines Day, daffodils and crocuses. Bring me a pint of the black stuff and I will sup with thee. And thanks MrB for always showing us the sunny side!
sorry to hear you are still in hospital, glad you still able to keep us smiling though. There are so many bugs going around at the moment, it’s quite scary.
Keeping my fingers crossed that you will be better soon
Sorry to hear you are still in hospital. I spoke with a friend of mine whose father has lung cancer, and is in hospital receiving treatment. She was told today that he would be safer at home because of Covid, flu and norovirus.
So glad you’ve still got your great sense of humour. I really hope we hear some better news from you soon that you are out of hospital and on the road to feeling better.
A good one and nice to see your sense of humour is in tact even though it must feel like an uphill battle to get out of hospital. Fingers crossed for you getting home soon 🙏
Your upbeat attitude always inspires and amazes me Mr.B. I do hope you don't come down with flu or any of the other bugs that are rife at the moment, while you are in hospitals. Stay safe and I hope you get home soon. Sally xx
