Heart pain before diagnosis

Hello,

Did anyone have left sided chest pain before being diagnosed with GCA (and taking steroids)?

I am three months out with classic GCA-like symptoms, but I'm still seeking a diagnosis, despite clear bloods, ultrasounds and an inconclusive PET scan.

I am pretty sure this pain around my heart - and accompanying exhaustion - is related.

I went to A&E two weeks ago and they ruled out heart attack or pulmonary embolism. I am scheduled for an echocardiogram next.

Thanks for your help!

Sometimes there are no simple answers - and you have had some real nasties ruled OUT which is a real positive.

Thanks. I had an echocardiogram today which was clear. More baffling test results to add to the list.
