Vyvanse with Gabapentin. Prescribed both for different conditions, but should they be taken together? Any Thoughts?
Dear Readers & Fellow Sufferers, I am still pretty new here, and I recently switched from methylphenidate to
Vyvanse
to help my battle with ADHD. I have done some research to prepare myself for what I might expect with this new med (also in addition to other meds I currently take for other conditions

New to Vyvanse 30mg... Not sure it's working yet... What Should I expect?
Dear Helpful Readers & Fellow Sufferers, I am a 34 year old female. I have taken methylphenidate since 2019, & it used to work pretty well for me overall, (despite a side effect or two) but over the last 6 or so months, it has lost its efficacy significantly, & after speaking with my provider, & trying

Night sweats???
does anyone get night sweats from their meds? I’m on 30mg of Vyvanse and 100mg of Effexor and holy moly, I sweat every night now like a fever is breaking.

What are we doing again??
hey all—it’s been 4 weeks since I got diagnosed with adult ADHD. I have the combined type. I’m on 30mg of Vyvanse and continuing my therapy journey with my therapist I’ve been seeing for a year. I got an adhd workbook and started listening to some ADHD podcasts. I feel like I’m doing things to understand

Started Vyvanse a week ago not reaping any benefits yet
I reached out to my ADHD specialist earlier this week in regards to not reaping any benefits from the medication yet as I started at a very low dose of only 10 mg after doing research and joining multiple ADHD groups I realize that I have a pretty severe case of this disorder and not sure which medications

So this just happened
My wife wasn't really happy when I was diagnosed and given Vyvanse. She worried I'd been snatched by the greedy hands of Big Pharma. We've been handling this by not talking about it. I get it, I didn't understand what ADHD really was until after I was diagnosed. She loves and cares for me and doesn't

I was told I should check out my adult ADHD
I've been reading alot about ADHD and agree with my psychologist that I should get this checked out starting with my PCP. Want to do so, but just noticed costs of Vyvanse (sp?) which seems to be the drug of choice for this condition and I'm worried about its cost. I have United Healthcare PPO. I am

3 weeks on Vyvanse and still worse mood than before taking it, is there still a possibility of improving?
I started with Vyvanse 3 weeks ago, first 2 weeks on 30mg ando 1 week on 50mg. Although my mood wasn't great before I feel more down with Vyvanse, I tried Concerta before, 2 weeks but it was even worse than with Vyvanse. I feel Vyvanse help me focus and be more still but I'm not sure if these side effects

ADHD medication affects hearing?
Hello, I am on 80 mg Straterra generic (Atomoxetine), been taking this for 1.5 months now. Titrated up to 80 mg bit by bit for the past few months. One thing I notice now with the 80 mg is that my hearing seems VERY alert. It's almost as if my ears were closed off and opened up all of a sudden. I can

Thoughts, day 5 on Vyvanse; day 10 after being diagnosed
Ten days ago when I walked out from being diagnosed, a prescription on its way to my pharmacist, I thought I'd throw out my experience with Vyvanse. Thinking back on it, I really did walk out feeling like I had bought a brand new car that I wasn't planning on buying and really didn't ask enough about

ADDitudemag.com. sketch.
I was referred from here to an interesting article. The 2nd article I read was a compilation of medication descriptions. It linked to a separate article for each drug. I recently refused to take vyvanse because it is under copyright and there is no generic; I refuse to participate in that system. After

generic Vyvanse
I recall hearing somewhere that there would be a generic version coming out in 2023. Did I dream this or has anyone heard this news? thanks!

Confused about the meds
Now I am on Vyvanse or the
Elvanse
which is the brandname they sell it here. It's 30 mg and after the start I really don't see much difference at all. There was a small moment where I was operating better and then nothing. I have become more depressed and every day feels horrible at the best.

My daughter "diagnosis" and prescribed Vyvanse
This is in reference to my daughter not myself. About a year ago now I was told my daughter had ADHD as the teachers noticed her jumping up and down and fidgiting and couldn't sit still in class/or test taking. She is currently in foster care and Let me also remind you, she not only lost me she lost

Is my medication still working???
Quick underlying information - I am a 54yr old male who was diagnosed with ADHD about 3 years ago by a licensed professional, with an emphasis on the Hyperactive/Hyperfocus. I went to see a professional only after a relative suggested this was a possibility - which made complete sense. I am very

Vyvanse 30mg not working?
Hi there, I am a 22 year old female studying finance in college in NYC. I’ve had ADHD my entire life. I struggled with school (specifically math), sports, friendships and memorization because I couldn’t stay on task, and I always had so many different interests but often would get bored and lose focus
