I started with Vyvanse 3 weeks ago, first 2 weeks on 30mg ando 1 week on 50mg. Although my mood wasn't great before I feel more down with Vyvanse, I tried Concerta before, 2 weeks but it was even worse than with Vyvanse. I feel Vyvanse help me focus and be more still but I'm not sure if these side effects will go away. I want to keep trying because I don't want my ADHD to be untreated but at the same time it's very difficult being quite down.
Does anyone have experiences with this issue?

Hi it might sound odd to you, but for some reason I feel better on a lower dose, I feel the calming effects , but when I go up I feel somewhat strained , hope that helps
That is enough time - Call the doctor demand another medication .??? wellbutrin XR- Wellbutrin is an Antidepressant with an off label use as treatment for ADHD - I was on it for some time and loved it but developed an allergy for it . And seems bif Pharma has there greedy hands in Physicians pockets since Vyvanse isone of the more expensive but not the best drug for ADHD
I've been on 30mg for almost a month and also take 50mg Zoloft for anxiety. The 30mg Vyvanse is juuust enough to keep me focused, motivated, & some improvement with mood (less reactive). But I will say that both work much better if I have a protein-filled breakfast by 10am and at least a walk in the morning.
Also, note on the Vyvanse cost - there's no generic yet but the patent expires this year, I believe. So maby a generic is in the works but I haven't looked that far into it yet.
