does anyone get night sweats from their meds?

I’m on 30mg of Vyvanse and 100mg of Effexor and holy moly, I sweat every night now like a fever is breaking.

I have the same reaction, but it isn’t consistent. My Dr said “use fewer blankets?” I usually don’t use any blankets now.

that's insane. night sweat are serious adverse reaction, get a second opinion.

Talk to your doctor and not an online forum for such questions. being told to use fewer blankets is ludicrous

def get evaluated by your doc or a different doc. Night sweats can be a symptom of some other things too so it would be good to make sure it’s definitely a med side effect and not anything else

Unusual sweating is a common side effect of Effexor along with several others. I took it for awhile and recently tapered off and sweating and other symptoms have resolved.
