blinding period success!
I remain in Normal sinus rhythm and will be able to discontinue my
Eliquis
! However 3 nights ago I began to have PAC’s. Today I recorded them pretty consistently 3-6 per minute. So bummed as I haven’t really even been aware of my heart beat in last 2 months.

Anyone have Post-Ablation Good News
I doing better on the 50 mgs and the doctor didn't seem to object on my recent visit as long as I continue to take my 2
eliquis
pills daily. Comments welcome. MY QUESTION: Can anyone tell me a success story about their ablation operation.

NHS black box warnings for anticoagulants…..
However, there was a fairly old reference to an American webpage called Drug Watch which said, “the
Eliquis
drug label comes with the following Black Box Warning: Premature discontinuation of any oral anticoagulant, including
Eliquis
, increases the risk of thrombotic events” It would be interesting

Eliquis/Apixaban and rectal bleeding
I've been on
Eliquis
for about three weeks. I've had 3-4 episodes of rectal bleeding, usually two or three days apart. I think maybe it's just some hemorrhoids "encouraged" by the
Eliquis
. I'm seeing my GI in three days, so I'll know more then. What has been your experience with
Eliquis
? 2.

Affect of tummy upsets on anti-coagulants,
I was wondering what effect it has on the absorption of anti-coagulants, should something cause you to have diarrhoea - how long does it take after ingestion does it take something like an
Eliquis
tablet to become effective ?

Update on AFIB after Doctor visit
Increased
eliquis
to 5 mg twice daily. Said after shock treatment that it may come back. Also said alcohol is a definite trigger and to have no more than two drinks per week, Never was much of big drinker in last ten years ,maybe six drinks per week so I guess for a while I will stop altogether.

deciding whether to do pluvicto with hemoglobin around 8
On
Eliquis
for DVT. Hemoglobin hovers around an 8 after multiple blood transfusions. Oncologist wants to try pluvicto next but am worried about it dropping hemoglobin levels further and causing more fatigue and weakness. Thoughts?

Apixaban Eliquis vs Teva
Anyone had issues with Teva Apixaban? My wife has been switched from Eliqius to Teva and now has a number of side effects (anxiety/emotional, nausea, headaches, balance) that she never had while taking Eliqius for 9 years.

Coagulation for Afib
After recently having an EP study and cardioversion the cardiologist wants to put me on Redoxaban as I refused to take
Eliquis
. I have a pathological fear of taking blood thinners. At the sign of blood I would have to stop them.

No Epi
Did your Dentist know you have AFib and are taking
Eliquis
? Dentists use Lidocaine as it is a vasoconstrictor, however in your case Local with No Epi would have been best. Also sometimes before an Extraction you come off
Eliquis
1-2 days before but your Dentist would have consulted with your EP.

Half dose of Eliquis
I was put on metroprolol 25 mg and
eliquis
10 mg daily. My normal BP is 103/60 so the beta blocker dropped it too low. Now I take 12.5 mg. I also cut my
eliquis
down to 5 mg due to side effects.

Seeking advise about an implantable loop recorder.
I complained to my cardiologist about how expensive my
Eliquis
prescription is. I also told him that I worry about bleeding from an injury because I am prone to falls due to a balance problem. He suggested an implantable loop recorder in lieu of an anti-coagulant.

Going off Eliquis
Because of my history with AFIB I am on
Eliquis
. A three-month refill costs me a $500 copay on my insurance policy. There are the usual risks of bleeding associated with blood thinners. Although my cardiologist wants me to stay on
Eliquis
, I am thinking about discontinuing it.

Paxlovid with Eliquis
What is the latest advice on taking Paxlovid for Covid if you are on an anticoagulant? Do you need to stop it or just be extra careful of bleeding or not take Paxlovid at all? I know you need to stop your statin drug while on it.

AFIB and my exercise
He prescribed
eliquis
and a beta blocker and referred me to a electrophysiologist, whom I a seeing tomorrow. One month ago I had a METS score of 13.8 on a treadmill test equal to a 26 year old. I have always thought of myself to be in great shape for my age but this Afib thing has me concerned.
