Eliquis and accidental scratch
My mom is on
Eliquis
and scratched her arm when she fell accidentally from the bed. She has a lots of bruises but two small scratches/scrapes that are leaking little bit. Will it ever close, or heal? Should I've take her to the ER or call ambulance? How dangerous these bruises are?

Arnica Montana and Eliquis or blood thinners?
Trying to help my mom with post stroke pains (stroke caused by AFIB) with Arnica Montana and wondering if there is an interaction between these two. Somewhere I read that arnica has also blood thinning properties and may cause troubles. Thank you!!!

6 weeks post ablation
I am taking
Eliquis
5mg twice a day. Has anyone had any bad side effects of these?Woundering if it could be the tablets or after effects of procedure.Only taking these to cover me for ablation then hopefully off them, not taking any other medication. Thought I would be better than this.

A Fib
Now she is on
Eliquis
and since it is a new medication there are some concerns. I am reading all your posts but would appreciate any recommendations and advices. She had an A Fib episode yesterday during the physical therapy where she pushed herself to walk.

High platelets and Eliquis
I am confused because my platelets are high which I understand is likely to cause blot clots and I an on
Eliquis
which I thought prevented blood clots. It seems to me this is a contridiction. Can someone explain this or should I ask my EP to stop
Eliquis
? Thank you.

Waves of Cold Going Through My Heart
I am almost 6 months post cryoablation and am only taking
Eliquis
. I also have a loop recorder implanted in October. For the past 6-7 weeks, I have been having short waves of icy cold in the middle of my chest. It comes and goes quickly - only seconds. But it does it all day long.

Antiplatelet vs anticoagulant therepy
Just began taking
Eliquis
(anticoagulant) for Afib. As a result was told to stop Plavix (antiplatelet) and 81 mg aspirin. Plavix had stopped migranes in the past. My question: Are migranes likely to reoccur?

Not Happy!
I started talkng
Eliquis
but it gave me a bad headache within 12 hours so that was stopped. I hate the thought of a stroke but I also hate the thought of a bleed. Is there anywhere to get information about the relative benefits of warfarin compared with NOACS?

Done with meds! Except my NOAC
Currently I am on metoprolol and
eliquis
, water pill, mag supplements and potassium. I am convinced I have vagal afib and metoprolol needs to be stopped. My b/p is great and I dont need a water pill either. I am working on high mag and potassium food.

Help! Medicine I can use for common cold?
I had a cryoblation done on July 21, 2016 and am only taking
Eliquis
. I'm terrified of going back into afib by taking some cold medication, but I feel like I've been run over by a truck. Doctor's office never calls back... too many patients, not enough office help apparently.

Uncontrolled bleeding events with Ibrutinib and in general
The newer blood thinning agents such as Pradaxa (Dabigatran) or Factor Xa blood thinners Xaralto (Rivaroxaban),
Eliquis
(Apixaban) & Savaysa (Edoxaban) may or may not have their own agents to reverse blood thinning.

2nd ablation done!
Since the medications made me so sick last year, he has me on none except the
eliquis
and he did not seem at all concerned that I would not be on them. We are crossing our fingers on this one. It was so great to see my EP happy!!!!

ELiquis is $457. A month
Just curious .....I am in the US and my
Eliquis
is $457. Month which is horrid. I had to do without basics before I got on Medicare but it only pays for a certain number of months and now I am paying that again. This is a hardship.
