Curious? Palpitation clinic
So, I've just been to Cardiac physiology to have a 24hr holter monitor fitted. Even the physiologist agreed with me that it probably wont catch anything as my symptoms can be random. He advised I ask my GP to refer me to Palpitation clinic. To be honest ive never heard of it but, if I do get a referral

Clear Angiogram but angina symptoms persist
I have left axis deviation and following months of on and off chest discomfort (heaviness and occasional dull ache) and visits to my doctor, I got to see a Cardiologist. Given my ECG and left axis deviation he arranged for an Angiogram and put me on Aspirin (75mg), Atorvastatin (40mg) and Isosorbide

Fat Feet
I see four doctors. Two neurologists--one for MS and one for PD, A cardiologist and a primary care doctor. All have their own schedules which don't coincide with mine so I see doctors every three months. A couple days ago I saw the cardiologist. He listened to my heart then ran an EKG then

Sertraline and Sotalol
Apologies as I have already posted this on a previous thread, but I think other fellow AFibbers need to be aware of this. I was recently put on a low does of Sertraline (an anti depressant) as a treatment for IBS, as had the most horrendous abdominal cramps that over the counter medications barely touched

Heart or non acid reflux?
I would be grateful to know whether anyone has had this experience and what they have done. I have had bad sleep patterns for years which I’ve put down to anxiety. I have no trouble getting to sleep but wake early.Over the last year have had medical issues (prolapse, eye surgery) that have added to

horrendous muscle aches on Ramipril and Bisoprolol
hi was wondering if you could help me. I was referred to the rapid chest pain clinic as I had an episode witch I thought was just a bad case of acid reflux, a little chest pain but went quickly and a pain in my arm. I had my appointment a couple of weeks ago and my ecg was abnormal. The consultant said

Adt and heart arrythmia
Has anyone experienced heart arrythmia whilst taking zoladex. This is my husbands second time taking adt in 5 years since a ct scan shows 2 pelvic lymph nodes. we cannot recall this side effect first time around, although it is classed as a side effect. He is having a Holter monitor on for 24hrs next

Wolff Parkinson White
Can anyone give any advice on Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome? Does the syndrome usually exist on its own without other heart problems, or does it exist in conjunction with other congenital heart defects? I’ve recently had an ECG that displayed a WPW pattern. What treatments have people had?

Newbie: is it normal to feel like you're going bonkers whilst awaiting a diagnosis?
I spent yesterday morning at A and E awaiting a troponin blood test to see if I'd had a heart attack in the early hours of Sunday morning. I hadn't thank goodness. Flash back to March/April this year when I first went to the GP for a weird feeling in my chest. Bloods showed Vb12 deficiency and my

Tachycardia andPV
Hello everyone Hope your all well 😊 I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has experienced rapid heart beat with PV. Over this year I have had numerous episodes of tachycardia and a few admissions to A and E with it. The A and E docs think it is probably superventricular tachycardia. Fortunately

I genuinely feel the skipping of my heart rate and he also

need some reassurance please
Hi, this is my first post. I just need a bit of reassurance. My husband had a quadruple bypass in July this year after 3 months of waiting in hospital. He’s 52 and had been having chest pains for a few months before being admitted because of his ecg results. After the bypass he recovered really well
