Hi I’ve just recently had a ecg done. Results on finding were bradycardia and also my heart skips beats too. On my 24hr tape there was 11 times of bradycardia only lasting a few beats mainly late afternoon. And also the skipping of heart also. When this happens I do feel it in my chest. This leaves me

Myopericarditis how long to recover
Hello. Wondering how to write this first post and actually still trying to figure out how I got to this point. I was a very active, working mum. I used to teach 4 to 5 spinning classes and play netball every week. Yes I'm 50 but I was a very fit 50 year old. Then I find myself getting out of breath

3rd primary Covid vaccination
My first two vaccines were AZ I was expecting a reaction as I react to most things but had very little only tiredness. So had my 3rd vaccine was Pfizer today and within a few minutes my heart was racing, felt light headed and tingling in fingers and toes. I was monitored very closely and had an ECG

Palpitations
I had a small HA nearly 5 years ago and am on Asprin, Remipril, Atorvastatin and Amlodipine. Over the last 10 months I've lost almost three stone (intentionally). I feel as if my internal organs are having a few issues with not having the visceral fat I had for three decades or so! I've had digestive

Minoca, 30 yr old male
Dear all, I am not sure if I am doing this right but I need someone to talk to. Anyway,I am 30 yr old male and I was healthy and active throughout my whole life. Never smoked and drinked and ate healthy. Weight was always good except I did get to 100 kgs here and there when I stopped doing sports actively

2 weeks after stent insertion. What can go wrong?
First, thank you to all respondents to everyone's posts. You have been so reassuring / comforting at anxiety producing times. What can go wrong in the early weeks after stent procedure? I didn't have a HA but blockage was discovered. Straight afterwards the cardiologist said, ' blood flowing well, other

Positive report on a medium dose of Flecainide over 8 years
It appears many are concerned about starting on Flecainide or staying on it even for the short term. So was I and still am! I accept everyone is different and of course I don't know what will happen tomorrow (so I am certainly not gloating) but I thought it worthwhile a positive post anyway, in case

Another day on the 🎡😵💫🚑
Well - went to See GP at 3 pm She said my thyroid with range TSH 2.8 is bang in middle - said range up to 3 something and that don’t need to test for t4 . Then she decided I needed to go to hospital to check my heart - rule out that I’m having a heart attack . Had one round of bloods - they have done

Pressure / Stabbing Pain
I've recently had an
electrocardiogram
, echocardiogram, and X-rays - all of which showed nothing untoward. e.g. Not pericarditis. Naturally, I've raised the issue with my GP and the Heart team at the Hospital.

Hello all, I'm looking for some advice and reassurance please. About 3 years ago aged 49, I experienced my first episode of heart palpitations which happened a couple of times over a week or so. Fast forward to March this year and I have now had 5 visits to A&E( on advice from 111 and GP). The episodes

Heart flutters and thuds
I am a 36 year old male. I have always been into fitness, running, rugby, weight training (resting heart rate mid 40’s). I do however struggle with strange heart flutters, thuds and skips mainly at rest but occasionally when exercising, these freak me put, take my breath away and sometimes lightheaded

I’m desperate due to near constant ectopics
Another desperate post from me. I have posted in multiple areas in the last two weeks, just desperate for help or reassurance. I have had ectopics to some degree all of my adult life. Usually just the flip flops and then thuds. Worse at obvious times like when ill, stressed or when I was medicated for
