Hi everyone, 3 years since my last post so I thought I would update you all. So no real changes in how I feel ( still refereeing football) and feeling well. But each 6 month check up I’m told that the fibrosis and steatosis are getting slightly worse so I was recommended to apply for a current clinical

nsure where to go from here (palpitations)
Hi, suffered dizziness for a year, nothing apparent on bloods, then last Saturday, out of nowhere, during a chilled activity, I start getting palpitations, roughly one every minute. They lasted 2 days, leading up to the point of constant, taking my breathe away so went to A&E. By the time they'd taken

New here, difficulty getting diagnosed - advice/similar experiences most welcome!
Hello, I am hoping someone may have had a similar experience to me and may have some advice... I am 48 and started experiencing palpitations in January of this year. When my partner feels my pulse, he will feel it miss a beat and at the same time I feel a judder/flutter in my chest. I don't experience

Being Switched From Flecainide to Solotol...Any Feedback?

Why haven’t I been examined?
After my HA was finally confirmed in a retrospective ecg, I have been put on blood thinners and beta blockers which have slowed my heart rate alarmingly (it’s only 60 without them). I haven’t been seen by a cardiology department or investigated further , so am scared what has caused it and have been

Is AF a cause or effect
I have posted a while ago about my AF. Sorry for the long post but I bottle it up. I dont get many episodes, one on Monday at 1am lasting 7 hours - 2 x flecainide straight away, but it never subsided until 7am, an hour after taking 5mg of bisoprolol ( I usually take 2.5mg). Previous to this, last August

Anti-arhythmics for ectopics?
Hi just wondering whether anyone here takes Anti-arhythmics to successfully treat their ectopics. Just had my appt with cardiologist and he thinks it is unlikely beta blockers will help in my case (to be confirmed with stress Echo and yet another ECG in a fortnight) and that the only treatment option

Not going as planed
Hi everyone just a quick update. I had my chest X-ray and ECG done yesterday. They then told me that my heart cath more than likely won’t be going ahead today. To say I was annoyed would be an understatement. Got the team coming round sometime today to chat to me. I need to come back to have my liver
