Rising haematocrit levels
Hi I haven't been in touch for a while. I am jack 2 positive ET diagnosed 7 years ago. I take 500 hydrea daily and plavix. My haematocrit level has been rising and is now at .49. Does anyone know if there are any diet changes I could make to reduce this a bit? I read something about spinach and broccoli

I AM NOT SERONEGATIVE!
So it has taken me 3 ½ years and nearly 2000 miles to finally be diagnosed and treated, despite going the best hospitals in NYC. I went to see Dr. Jill Schofield in Denver, CO this spring. As some of you know who have read my earlier posts, I became severely ill in the end of 2012. After 3 weeks of

Good Morning, I have had multiple strokes and TIAs. I am on Plavix to keep from clotting. I am getting ready to travel by Air Plane and am a little nervous. Do you think it would be alright to add aspirin for the days I am flying? On a positive note, I will be allowed to take my ESA (emotional support

Health Anxiety
I take
Elavil
10mg daily that was prescribed for TMJ and Xanax .5mg as needed. My biggest problem is I feel like I'm going nuts. I've been a nurse for many years (which is a blessing and a curse for someone with health anxiety!)

Newly Diagnosed
Hi I'm Debbie from Long Island, New York, USA! I'm a very happy-go-lucky person ! I don't take "NO," for an answer! Although I'm now 62, it's taken me most of my life and the loss of a leg to finally get diagnosed with APS! I'm now being treated with Plavix & Warfarin! Unfortunately I also have Polycythemia
