Has any one had a uterine biopsy while on plavix and warfarin? I am awaiting my hemotologist's answer to if I need to bridge for a uterine biopsy and am getting impatient, it has only been twenty minutes but my anxiety is spiking cause I hate the heperin shots and I was really hoping my other tests were

80 mg lipitor??
7 months ago I had a stent placed because of 95% blockage. I was told i needed to take plavix and 40mg Lipitor along with a specific diet. After 7 months of doing as instructed I'm now told I need to go to 80 mg Lipitor because my cholesterol is rising high. Now I'm concerned about liver damage and why

Are you on an anticoagulant?
My diagnosis of Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction predated APC. Plavix is intended from now on. I understand that with some PC treatment, (chemo in general) blood cell production is affected. Platelet production will likely drop. Is there a concern that a bleeding incident could occur?

Warfarin, plavix and alcohol?
The dr’s say don’t drink. The pharmacist says don’t drink but only because over use of alcohol can cause a stomache bleed. Last yr and this yr (like ever yr) went to an out of town multi day meeting for my work, which trusty me it’s more of a hobby cause I can’t do enough to make $$ at it. Anyway last

80 mg Atorvastatin and Anxiety
I'm brand new and looking for answers. I never smoked, I worked out, and kept my weight down. My cholesterol numbers were pretty normal. Even so, 15 years ago I developed full body RA and had a heart attack at 46 (on my daughter's 2nd birthday). My doc put me on Plavix, Metropralol, Ramipril, and 20

Keep it together, dude.
I took half of an
Elavil
last night and it did help with the headaches (the doctors thought they were due to occipital neuralgia) but today the drunk feeling I had was worse than it has been. I've been struggling with this for the passed 2 or 3 mths.

Hello, this is my first post. I am not officially diagnosed with APS yet. I had a stroke while on vacation. I am 49 years old, had flown two days prior to the CVA and was on an antiviral for shingles around the right side of my torso. I was in Orlando and had ridden roller coasters for two days, as well

This was the good news for the beginning of the new year! Had my knees X-Rayed today and seen Dr. Sathoff. My knees are great and I don't need to see him for another year. Seen Dr. Ahmad my heart doctor today and he had me stop the Plavix today and just increased my baby aspirin to two a day. I don't

Meds, Supplements and Vitamins . . . Yay or Nay
My husband, who is 53, was diagnosed 5 years ago with Parkinson's. He is a Stage 4 colon cancer survivor of 15 years. He was a soybean, rice and crawfish farmer until 2 years ago. Now he stays super busy, from sun-up to sundown, with the cattle and horses. He's in constant pain in his lower back . .

Low Dose Aspirin
Hi PBC folks, I am having issues with thick blood and was referred to a hemotologist. He ran some genetic tests and said I was negative for different genes that can cause high hematocrit. He said my blood isn’t bad enough to start phlebotomy (bloodletting) which can cause other problems like high
