Are you on an anticoagulant?

My diagnosis of Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction predated APC. Plavix is intended from now on.

I understand that with some PC treatment, (chemo in general) blood cell production is affected. Platelet production will likely drop.

Is there a concern that a bleeding incident could occur?

It is a concern. You should ask your doctors if they are going to monitor your platelet count and tell you when to stop plavix.
