Had trip to ER per her recommendation after temporary blind spot peripheral vision 2 times....sooooo...doc doesn't think its GCA tho she admits biopsy size

Just read the stories of GCA March 22...I'm new
I have learned so much thank you , and from stories have been looking at some past symptoms I had in new light. May be related to the GCA for which they are now treating me ( and pending recent biopsy results). Most recently visual disturbances (80 pred). Prior temple headaches into occipital, enlarged

Thank you for your replies to my post about Plavix
I want to thank everyone for replying to my post about Plavix and PV. I have an appointment with my hematologist in late January and will have lots to talk about with him. I hope that I can have some positive blood test results. Wondering if anyone else is experienced fatigue when they started taking

Taking Plavix (generic clopidogrel) for PV
I have tried Hydroxyurea and Anagrelide but both of them were intolerable for me. I was getting ready to go on Jakafi (very expensive as others have pointed out). My HCT seems to be under control with an occasional phlebotomy but platelets are still very, very high. At my last Hematology appointment

Plavix and ITP
I was diagnosed with ITP a month ago. Platelets of 1. I was on Plavix and baby aspirin along with Zoloft. Was anyone on the same or similar medications when diagnosed. Initially my Dr thought the medication caused the low platelets. I have been off them for a month though and at this point it seems

Reconsidering Vinpocetine - Not Feeling Well Today
So I took Vinpocetine yesterday, 2 doses of 30 mg, which put me at the high end (or over) the recommended dosing). Woke up feeling nauseous. Then I read Elliot's and Julie's warning and article https://www.verywellhealth.com/the-benefits-of-vinpocetine-89593#:~:text=Vinpocetine%20may%20slow%20blood%

Switching meds
Granted a question for my GP but thought I would check here first instead of the busy phone calls I went from 10 Mg of Escatalopram because I thought it had run it’s course and was feeling fine but get a very heavy head and dizziness. I think it’s related to a chemical imbalance I have been on it for

Bisopropolol or something else
I was put on Bisopropolol 5 mg now reduced to 2.5 mgs and telesmartan for BP and Plavix for LB with Ejection fraction of 42 per cent so early stages of HF. I have been so light headed since I started these 3 and now after reading these posts I will bet it is the Bisopropolol.
