Has anyone else had different lengths of cycle post laparoscopy?
I had a laparoscopy 8 weeks ago. Grade 4 endo diagnosed and excised. I recovered very quickly and have felt completely back to normal since about day 10 post op. The only thing is that since the op my cycles have become a lot longer than before! I normally have a short cycle of 25 days and am pretty

How do they kickstart periods? If not overweight and can't take 'the pill'
Hi all, I plan to speak to my GP about this soon but was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation. I'm mid 30s and have PCOS and endometriosis. My cycle is very irregular. I was always told I need 4 periods a year to stay healthy and avoid the risk of developing cancer. Most of my life I've

Tranexamic acid
My gp has prescribed this as a way to lighten my periods until the coilis fitted. I don't know when that is. I was reffered in Jun, July and gp said a 6 month waiting list Husband is against this as all his research says about heart attacks and strokes. He also said I have lived with it this long I may

No periods
Not sure where else to turn as feel like hitting a brick wall speaking to gp. I have endometriosis and pcos and had been on depo for a few years and then a different injection for a few years to. stopped this as side effects started to outweigh the benefits. I then got the implant fitted due to gyn advising

Switching from combined to mini pill with PCOS and Endo
Hi everyone - brief history, I was diagnosed with PCOS as a teenager (around 2000) and have been on Yasmin combined pill for around 15 years. I was finally diagnosed with endo (stage 3/4, RV and other areas) in around 2016. I've had multiple laps to treat the Endo, last one in Feb this year. At my consultant

Endo/pms
Hi, need some advice I'm having endo removed next week. The gynecologist has suggested I have the marina coil fitted while I have the procedure. I'm a bit concerned as I suffer with pms and I've heared some stories it's made peoples pms symptoms worse. Anyone else experiences would be appreciated thanks

Worse endo pain after laparoscopy
Hi everyone I had a laparoscopy (excision surgery) 9 months ago and they found stage 4 endo and adenomyosis. My question is, how common is it to be in more pain after the operation than before? I had the lap as we’d been trying to conceive for a while with no success. I didn’t think they’d find anything

Suspect endo, should I get a laparoscopy?
Just joined and first time posting! So I’ve had a few varying symptoms over the past few years: hip pain (particularly during sleep), pain during sex, long periods, and now stabbing pains right at the start of every period - to the point I ended up sleeping on the sofa once to not disturb my partner

Please help, bleeding after positive pregnancy test
Hey guys, I just wondered if any of you can offer any calming words. After our third IVF cycle, yesterday we got our first BFP. I was over the moon, I was in that much disbelief that I took 3 tests just to be sure it was positive. But this morning, I have what feels like period pains and I'm bleeding

Laparoscopy side effects or monthly cycle?
After 10 years of pain, numerous trips to the doctors & several scans, I was finally referred & had a laparoscopy 3 days ago & was diagnosed with endometriosis which they also treated at the same time. I was due on my period around the same day as the op but never came on & pregnancy test was negative

Query about the combined pill
Just looking for some advice. I've been on the pill for about three years now (2 years mini pill and for the last year combined pill) I found out recently that my mum had a blood clot during the birth of one of my siblings. At age around 40. Apart from this there are not other known heath concerns in
