Effexor

Effexor. I’m not sure if it will help with this panicking and heart rate. It worked great for me when I took it before but I didn’t have all this (my anxiety was much more mild). Please does this happen to anyone else? I feel like I’m going crazy.

I think the GP messed up my prescription. I was on 150mg twice a day and asked to go on prolonged release because of the insomnia. The doc prescribed half the dose. 75mg, twice a day. The pharmacist said it should be 2 x 75mg, once a day but that is half my previous dose. I feel like shit and think it

I really need some advice. I think perhaps some of my symptoms may be caused by one or more of my medications. I received a DAT SCAN (showed loss of dopamine in the right and left side of my brain) in 2015 confirming that I have Parkinson's but because my progression seems to be faster than most ,

Has anyone else tried effexor? How does it work for you? Do you see results? Is there anything you do not like about it?

I have an appt with my onc on Tuesday and I'll be asking her for a low does of Effexor. More to come.

If not I guess it's the effexor. And if it's not the effexor I guess it's just my dumb brain.

They said any test they did take wouldn't have accurate results because of the effexor and buspar so I'd have to get off of those first. I want too because they're definitely not helping. I seem to feel worse and worse every single day.

It seems everything I read about it is for Anxiety. I just got a prescription for it 75mg. I am not sure I want to start it. I am kind of scare. I do feel depression coming over me. It helped but then I tried Lexapro, Effexor and Celexa - nothing changed. Now I’m on Pristiq and was doing ok but 5 months in and I still have trouble breathing. I’m a runner so this is frustrating!! Any body else have this experience or suggestions?

Is it common to have increased bruising when taking venlafaxine? As in: when you hit against something, perhaps with your leg or foot, you have a wide spread of bruising, when previously you maybe didn't bruise that easily?

They changed my lexapro to effexor at the hospital but I was on effexor before and this didn't happen. I want this to stop. I have started begging god. I don't feel like I'm in the real world at all anymore. I am so scared I'm going to be put in a mental hospital again.

Im starting effexor and I feel terrible. I feel like I'm dying. I'm having a panic attack and cannot sleep because I'm positive if I sleep I will die. I'm dizzy and my face is hot and I have a sense of impending doom. I also keep waking up confused and even getting confused when I'm already awake.

Looking for some advice please !! Am currently on 150mg of Efexor. Am under immense stress at the moment due to imminent death of my Dad. Also have Psoriatic arthritis and on Biologic drug Cosentyx. Am wondering if it is possible to calm myself down a bit with some Valium? Any suggestions... am so emotional

Ever since I've been on effexor ( about 2 months) then switched to pristiq ( 2 weeks now) I feel like I have a gross vomit feeling inside me. I'm so sick of feeling like shit and now I feel like a different kind of shit!

I use Effexor 150mg

After CBD diagnosis we weaned hubby off of Wellbutrin and tried Effexor. His depression didn’t improve. Interesting though, when antidepressants were completely out of his system, his cognitive/confusion symptoms improved immensely.
