Hi all Could someone please tell me how to wean off the very last tiny tablet that's inside Efexor capsule? I've been taking 75mg for 15yrs and been pulling the capsule apart and slowly taking less over the months. This evil tablet has sent me to hell. I lost a stone in a week but went back on part of

Vyvanse vs Adderall XR/IR Experiences
What has people’s experience been with Vyvanse vs Adderall XR? I’m taking 60mg of Vyvanse which is great for the 4-5 hours it’s working but the crash is becoming more difficult and just need a more prolonged focus. I’m leery to even go up to the 70mg. Has anyone had the same experience with Vyvanse

Sleepy From Adderall
Hey Everyone, First post on CHADD. I'm a 42 year old male, first diagnosed with ADHD about 2 years ago. In researching ADHD, working with various mental health professionals, and in reflecting upon my life, it is quite clear that I've had this my entire life, despite only recently being diagnosed. Anyway

How do I become the person I was?
For the past 2.5 years I have been happy and content. Now in the past 3 months I feel sad, restless, anxious and not my self. I’ve been on Effexor 150 mg, when I started feeling like this I tried to change to another medication, thinking that it stopped working. I’m second guessing if I’m a good mom,

Substantial Effects from Mannitol
My husband started Mannitol about five months ago. He has had PD since 2006, and the past 2 years has suspected dementia. He has stiffness, postural instability, gait issues, but no tremor. As a result of Mannitol, he no longer needs his Dopamine meds. Here is his current daily regime: 20mg numenda

SSRIs versus SNRIs for Depression and Anxiety
I tried one
Effexor
XR
pill one time and I had the worse dry mouth and throat and sweated like crazy and that had a 30-to-1 serotonin versus norepinephrine reuptake ratio. Blocking norepinephrine would seem to want to increase anxiety and nervousness.

What is the ideal dose for maximum medication effectiveness Focalin XR
My 17 yr old son has tried several different medications and currently on Focalin XR. He started with 20mg and increased dose until 35 mg. When he took 35mg for a day he experienced increased heart rate, so it was reduced to 30mg. However, when it was reduced to 30mg, he said it was not great as when

PSA rising, won't be able to escape ADT. Any tips for brain-fog and depression handling?
Went to see my oncologist today. PSA is still rising. After my initial, and only so far, injection of Lupron in April, my PSA had gone down from 116 to 1.9 in May but I've never reached the non-detectable stage and stayed at around 2.2 for the whole summer. But from August onward, with Lupron out of

Natural ADHD Supplements?
I recently stopped taking Adderall XR 10mg which had worked well but made me more irritable. Are there any good supplements one can take to help with ADHD?

Stimulant/Adderall crash
I have been on Adderall XR for 3 months and things have gone well, but I have noticed a recurring theme. About once a week I will suddenly be mentally exhausted and grumpy even with my medication and the only thing that fixes it is about a 12 hour sleep. Every day prior to this I feel fine and hugely

Hi everyone! Hoping someone can ease my mind. 2018-2019 I had a major breakdown and was switched from lexapro to buspirone and 150 Effexor. I’ve been doing great the last year. However, I hear the horror stories of going off Effexor. Now all I’m worrying about is going off it! I think this summer I want

Can I mix Adderall XR with Yoo-hoo to get child to take it?
I was thinking about opening the capsule into a medicine cup and just adding a few squirts of Yoo-hoo so he will drink it down. Will this be ok?

Do you feel foggy in the morning?
Do any of you feel like me in the morning: just like you are in a fog. It is hard to bend over or turn around without feeling weak and almost dizzy. I am just not a functioning person until about 1:30 in the afternoon. I am good in the evening. I am on Ibrance and Letrozole and not even a therapeutic

Directed attention Exhaustion and Adderall XR
My son has recently started Adderall XR and has said he gets tired and exhausted after focusing on tasks and assignments that aren't very interesting. Is this fairly common and what can be done to minimize this exhaustion? Thanks!

Remeron vs SSRI
Had a worsening of symptoms with Lexapro and Celexa (sister drugs) Felt much better mentally but not physically. Does that mean all SSRI meds are going to have the reaction? Maybe a SNRI like Effexor? Using Remeron now but liked the way the SSRI made me feel?

Antidepressants for ADHD and aggression
Hello everyone! I just wanted to start by saying how grateful I am to be part of this community. The connections have been a saving grace for me. I am also wondering if anyone has trialed antidepressant medication for their child with ADHD/ODD/anxiety. Focalin XR has helped but only mildly. My 7 year
