Venlafaxine makes, is there any difference?

Hi, I have been on 150 venlalic slow release, I picked up my repeat prescription & it was a different make Effexor, same dosage as venlalic. I took one & felt pretty crap throughout that day fortunately I had some of the Venlalic left,took the next morning felt fine. Told the pharmacy they didn’t agree with me,so they gave me another one Sensir this is in a capsule same as Effexor, took one this morning felt crap since this morning. Is there any difference in these tablets that could make me feel this way? All answers gratefully received.

Hi Gretch61. These are licensed medicines so will have the same active ingredients, but the sub-components may be slightly different. If you look at the leaflet that comes in the box, it should tell you what the minor ingredients are and you may be able to compare them. Some may contain lactose for example, but not others.
