Pacemaker
I was fitted with a pacemaker about 10 weeks ago. Ever since it's been fitted my pulse is unpredictable. My heart rate changes too. I've been back to the hospital nearly every week but they can't find anything wrong. The ECG the paramedics do shows you're is a problem. The Cardiologist doesn't seem

Newbie.
Hi I was diagnosed with heart failure in December 2021 by my GP after an ECG and an Ultra Sound . I felt really well up until then. I had been cycling for the last 35 years , competitively and thought I was really fit. When cycling uphill or making a big effort, my heart rate would go quite high , sometimes

Irregular heartbeat with shaking afterwards
Hi all, I've been experiencing some other symptoms during the last few weeks since my last post. Lately my heart rate has been erratic going from mid 50s to over 120 bpm then back down again like a roller coaster ride in a matter of seconds which would last for around 30 mins or more resulting in me

Constant palpitations caused by exercise
For about a year, I have had irregular heartbeat and chest discomfort when I am moving around. I live a pretty sedentary lifestyle and am usually fine if I am sitting/lying down with maybe an occasional skipped beat. If I go for a walk for example, and there is even a slight hill coming, I start feeling

Hi New to all this - may have angina.
Chest tight and felt squeezed - referred pain arm, shoulder and jaw - for 48 hours. Taken to A&E - bloods clear for heart attack and ecg normal. Was given GTN spray which worked within 1 minute. At assessment they were convinced that I had a form of angina - then I was sent for an X-ray which show

Advice please
I often wonder why Syncope appeared on my medical records because it has never been discussed with me. In 2007 I fell while I was crossing a road. I had just got to the kerb when I went flat on my face. I assumed that I had misjudged the kerb but I never really believed that I had because I'm sure I

ECT for OCD?
That's why my doctor is suggesting
ECT
. He and I both think that Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation might be a good thing, but my insurance won't cover it. Anyway, sorry for this long and drawn out post, but, just wanted to put this out there and see if anyone has any input on

LVH by voltage, right bundle branch block and sinus arrhythmia
Hey Iv been told I have the above after a long few months of feeling unwell my gp referred me for ct, ecg and echo all came back clear except the ecg showed the above . Should I be worried with the above as heart problems do run in my immediate family (hence why I was referred for the tests) I didn’t

Palpations
Good evening everyone, I am new here - last week out of nowhere I started getting palpations, these lasted on and off for a couple of days. I had no other symptoms at all but was advised by 111 to go to urgent care. I had an ECG which was 'abnormal' but 'could be normal for me' and a blood test which

Finally prescribed Methadone, amazing results.
Hi all. I live on the West Coast of Canada and have suffered from RLS since earliest childhood. This past year I was put back onto Levodopa, as I had augmented on everything else available, and they decided to try an old treatment I hadn’t used in twenty years, It actually worked if I used it throughout

An update on this pain-in-the-bum condition
So 2018 Flutter, ablation fixed it but triggered fibrillation. Cardioversion fixed that for about 10 months then Flecainide from September 2019 until cryo-ablation in October 2021. Stopped the post abalation meds ten days ago. Sinus fine and ecg fine last week when my cardiologist saw me. I have developed

Rate related LBBB & Bisoprolol
Hi all, I was diagnosed last year with rate related left bundle branch block after some strange sensations in my upper chest when working out in the gym. I’m 43 years old and apparently healthy on all other fronts, heart all good in other areas and no history of high blood pressure, but to run checks

Hello from a Newbie
I’ve had palpitations for years, however, the GP has never been able to trap them, in November I went for a routine ECG and was informed I was in AF, at long last it was trapped, I was so relieved as I was starting to think it was all imagined. I was sent to Ambulatory Care, another ECG, not in AF again

Has anyone had irregular heart rate and palpitations intermittently, but been told by a cardiologist that it’s normal?
I got taken to A& E by a paramedic last week, with an episode of bradycardia, irregular pulse and and breathlessness. The paramedic did an ECG which picked up an arrhythmia. I was kept overnight on a trolley in A& E . Bloods were normal. The cardiologist did an echocardiogram on me in the morning and
