AF research microchip implant
I had a microchip implant at John Radcliffe a few months ago . I am so pleased I agreed to have this initially for furture research for people with AF. It took a 30 minute appointment so really straight forward and no problems. But a few weeks after my implant I got a call from the cardiology department

3 weeks post ablation tachycardia
I wonder if anybody has had experience of tachycardia post ablation. My resting pulse is 122. I’m feeling very fatigued and light headed. I’ve contacted the arrhythmia nurses and sent an ECG taken at the doctors and they conclude I need an urgent cardio version, cardiologist thinks I’m in “block”. Stupidly

Life changes
As the Cerebellar is slowly being damaged and because it’s linked to many other parts of the brain do you think it changes us as a person ie what we like to watch on tv what we like to eat how we behave in different situations how we handle stress bad news

Worried again .AFib getting worse .Is it Heart failure or just Afib getting worse.
My AFib is definitely getting worse is it something more serious.Over the last 7 to 14 days I have felt very dizzy & lightheaded like when it all started.Lots of rib pain .I bowled last week & matches went on too long.Chest twinges throughout & pain in left shoulder. Not mechanical pain but I am sure

Met my new cardiologist today I think I like him
Met my new cardiologist today I think I like him. I had a VOM done the end of April. Long story short it was a failure that’s obvious to me now. I have had tachycardia ever since except for a month I was on medication for pericarditis. I can barely walk and when I do I feel faint and my vision gets

Hello, so I'm a healthy guy who goes to the gym and recently developed chest pains and what I think are palpertations. I spent the whole of this summer in A&E thinking it was a heart problem, got ECGs, X rays, scans and nothing will they found was a heart murmur and apparently it is was nothing to worry

Update and advice needed
He is now back at working on our large Cortijo, 2 Apartments, olive trees
ect
. (With not much of problem, apart from the heat and a foggy head) Is it normal to still have a foggy head on 17.5mg of pred? He needs a knee replacement, maybe October/November time.

Ectopics and flecainide
Morning everyone. I have posted here recently concerning flecainide and received some very helpful information. Since being recommended this drug for my ectopic beats (which I have tried to 'live with') by an EP, my consultant has since suggested I try it as a pill in the pocket. The recommended dosage

Afraid to get better? Do you self sabotage yourself
I've been on about 20 meds,
ECT
, TMS, ketamine, hospitalization and nothing works. For the last 14 months I've had severe suicidal ideation, depressive/emotional pain. I was on lexapro for 13 years and went off of it 14 months ago.

As you lovely people were so kind reassuring and helpful during my recent meltdown, I thought I’d let you know what happened today. I had an echo and then an ecg after which I was seen by a very nice cardiologist for results. The high BNP is due to persistent AF, my heart remarkably in good shape with
