I had an ecg yesterday afternoon was told to call for results on Friday. After doctor finished it she told me to call back in the morning ( today ) for results. This morning I thought I would wait until this afternoon to call. Looked on my GP app and a telephone appointment had been booked for me saying

Smartwatch ecg
Hi there everyone. I was diagnosed with mild LVSD after chemotherapy treatment and have been on bisoprolol and ramipril for a few years. I've recently discovered my watch can do ecg's , but my results do not look like my husbands and all the other 'normal' ecgs online. They have large waves. I will

aortic valve surgery
morning all, I have had open heart surgery 8 weeks ago to replace my aortic valve. I have a mechanical valve now which I can hear ticking/thudding. Few days ago I could notice , while lying down, a few skipped heartbeats, naturally I got a little worried and also panicked which made the matter worse

24 hour ECG
Was set up with a Lifecard CF this morning for a 24 hour ECG. Just noticed it saying error battery low! No chance of getting hold of anyone now so wondered if anyone knows whether I should try and change the battery or leave it? Is it still recording? Or is this a waste of my time and I’ll have to

A question.
I went for an ECG today which is basically a yearly check re taking Dronedarone. Unfortunately, I was asked to lie down in a totally flat position which leaves me feeling nauseous. I mentioned this to my wife who quite automatically said "Why don't they take your ECG when you are upright"? Which when

Coming off meds - any advice?
Hoping you are all having a good day. I’ve just had the news that my three month post ablation ambulatory ECG has given good results - ‘very reassuring’ and ‘no sign of AF’. So far, so good. I was told that I can stop Flecainide today and Bisoprolol after a further two months. I’d welcome your comments

My Home ECG reading? AF or Ectopics
As you may know from my recent posts Ive been having aweful time past 5 days with ectopics and palpitations. Ive been recording them and the photo attached is the typical of what Im having every minute of the day. I think overnight I went into sinus rhythm - I found a 2mg of Diazepam from years ago

Whatever happened to the pill in the pocket?
I have had paroxysmal AF for 10 years. When it happens I never know what to do, especially as I live alone. If it goes on for more than about 12 hours I seek help from 111, they send the paramedics who do an ECG and confirm the problem, but by the time I get to A&E it stops! I have asked for advice on

Waiting CTCA and echo
I saw my GP in Nov 21 because of left sided short lived chest pain- I thought It might be GI related as I have a hiatus hernia. He suggested referral to cardiology. Finally seen by cardiology early March 23 ( 60+ weeks after referral). I was seen in A and E in March 22 with an episode of dizziness,
