Saw my EP last Thurday
So it’s hardly surprising that I feel so tired (or all of us) He then looked at my
echocardiogram
from nearly 18 months ago now and said “That’s a large enlargement of the left Atria, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t even bigger now” I’m going to book you in for another to check, and also I

Thanks for rapid responses
Who knows Results of an
echocardiogram
showed diastolic dysfunction with pseudonormalisation of left ventricular filling (what on earth does that mean.) He seems to be against a pharmalogical solution, but pacing to a high atrial rate to suppress ectopics while INCREASING bisoprolol dose!!

Test Results
As some of you read I finally got to see a Lung Consultant last month, and he wanted tests. I wrote about there here;- https://healthunlocked.com/blf/posts/131074577/getting-nervous-now I received the results of my first test today, the echo-cardiogram. I can not believe that after months of my GP refusing

Getting Nervous Now
Since seeing the Consultant a few weeks back I am now on oxygen 16 hours a day (2ltrpm sitting and 4ltrpm moving around), I have received two appointments for further tests. The first test is at the Cardiac Investigations Unit for a echo-cardiogram, (painless procedure and takes 30 minutes), (August

I saw a Cardiologist this week. Seems I may have a complication due to another complication of PSP. I'd appreciate feedback.
For those who've been following my posts, some of this is old info; for the benefit of newer caretakers/persons with PSP, I'm going to briefly refer to the complication of PSP I was diagnosed with May of 2013. My Doc (a Neuro) surprised me with a referral for a sleep study. Sleep apnea was the furthest

Should I go on medication for Paroxyismal Artrial Fibrillation as I have only been diagnosed, to date, by ECG?
He has prescribed this medication having only viewed my ECG Trace and without doing any other tests, although he is intending to do an
Echocardiogram
and treadmill test in about a month.

What to do now?? ("Normal")
He would not even tell me the results in numbers/units, let alone reference ranges or where in the range the results were - just NORMAL - as is, thankfully, the ECG, although now he wants - to be sure - to get an
Echocardiogram
(which I shall probably not bother with).

Ive had some breathing issues and while the doctor doesnt think its Asthma, I have an inhaler now.
However, they can now hear a loud murmur so I was sent for an
echocardiogram
which was yesterday. I take T3 only and Im now worried that it has damaged my heart. Does anyone else have any experience of T3 and heart murmurs?

He thinks my border line osteoporosis should be re checked as I've been receiving treatment for two years, also i should have Lung function, CT Scan and
Echocardiogram
. See him again in 3 months and depending on results be referred for a Lung Transplant Assessment.

Migraine and stroke
While in the hospital, I had an
echocardiogram
with bubble study and a CT of my brain and carotid arteries. These tests all came back normal or negative or whatever medical speak is for good. Blood work revealed slightly elevated cholesterol.

Paroxysmal AF, Atrial Flutter and SVT - ablation advice and insurance advice need
I have no other health problems and
Echocardiogram
was clear. Was put in bisoprolol 2.5mg once a day which has been great. No side effects and no dizziness - feel the odd palpitations though now and then.

Hello forum Had AF for a week now - bit scared, have to wait two weeks for the echo-cardiogram but praying it clears before then - does it clear itself in most cases? I'm really not looking forward to the next two weeks! kindest regards mark

Medically sound but my body tells a different story.
Before that I did several ECG's and an
echocardiogram
as well as a treadmill stress test. All results were normal. Several blood tests were also performed, which were all good. My BP dropped at times, which made me feel weak and dizzy. Docs said it maybe as a result of the the meds.

Low blood pressure and weakness.
Well I did a stress test and
echocardiogram
on Monday but will get the results on Thursday. Over the last two days, I began feeling a bit dizzy and weak. I checked my BP and it was 88/58. My BP is always in the 90's/60's. Now every time I check it's low. A short while ago it was 89/59.

FAQs - General
You may also need to have an
echocardiogram
(an ultrasound of the heart) to access the overall function of the heart. Blood tests may also be required. Q)I was diagnosed by my GP with AF and have been on the waiting list for the cardiology clinic for a very long time.

Am I entitled to my ECG and Echocardiogram records
I have had an ECG, 24 hr. monitoring and will have an
echocardiogram
in 10 days times. Am I entitled to a print out of all these results. I figure it will save me time and money if I can hand them to the consultant but I believe there may be some protocol which prevents this.

Anyone else have a Resting Heart Rate of 50 bpm?
Recently, I visited a different cardiologist and had an ECG and an
echocardiogram
and he said that he was concerned about my heart rate which was slow at 50 bpm. He said if I get an episode do not take the bisopropol as this could slow my heart rate down too much.

Mystified.
Had all tests done for heart attack, had radial angiogram done,
echocardiogram
, stress cardiogram etc etc etc. Then they decided I should go on warfarin.
