Hi

I have heart failure abd just recently my blood prestressed dropped to 75 over 50 for a few days

I had no energy and was terribly fatigued

it’s bounced up again and my energy sliwky returned and I was able to garden for four hours which included mowing the lawns

I feel so much better

I’m wondering if anyone has had this happen

I worry that I get my energy and zest for living back and last a few days then I crash and feel terrible

I think I need to try harder to pace myself a bit better

any ad vice comments very welcome

I see my doctor for a revues in a week and am waiting on an angiogram and another echocardiogram in the next few weeks

I’ll be interested to find out what my ejection fraction is as I was just less than 30 percent

Could you be overdoing it when you’re having a good day? I’ve noticed with myself, if I’m having a slightly better day with my health, I try and cram everything I need to do all together. Unfortunately, I end up feeling unwell later on in the evenings or the following day which serves as a reminder that I need to slow down sometimes. I wonder if this could be one element of things contributing to your fluctuations in blood pressure.

I hope your upcoming tests and your next cardiology appointment goes well and they can tell you what maybe causing this.

All the best.

My experience too ! However at my meds review my average over a week BP was 93/59 Pharmacist doing the review now wants to reduce my calcium blockers. Eek tried it but my Microvascular Angina came “knocking again” only mild but three times in one day. Moral of my story: keep taking the pills and pace yourself don’t yo-yo : rest one day then mad activity the next ! Good luck and take care of yourself 😌

75 over 50 is very low. I recognise that feeling. I had it when they tried me on 8.5mg of bisoprolol. It’s awful isn’t it. My blood pressure was 70 over 40. And I’ll never forget that feeling. I’m now on 2.5mg bisoprolol split into two doses. And my blood pressure doesn’t drop as low. My EF was 40%. Last checked and it had come up to 46%. I’m further down the line now and because I can exercise more I feel it must have improved again.
