Recently had an echocardiogram because a heart mumur was picked up. When I eventually tracked down the doctor for my results he said everything was normal. I wanted to see the results for myself and requested the results. When I received the results it said mild AS which I figured was aortic stenosis. It said mild AS probably due to small lvot. Few other places with mild regurgitation. This don't sound normal to me and feel like he should have at least informed me about this. From what I've read is will progress and just keep an eye on it over the years...am I right? He didn't even ask how do I feel in myself. I feel really unwell, but I do have pots syndrome and that gives all the symptoms of someone with a heart problem, so I wouldn't know what's causing what

Good morning,
I had a very similar situation. Where my report was very different to what my result letter said.
I demanded a consultation with different consultant. I got the my second opinion and the consultant went through full report. I felt very lucky to get my new consultant. My advice is demand answers. If you are ignored put this in writing to their complaints department.
