Quantiferon TB Golf test before starting Actemra
Hi . this is Groda again. My Rheum wants me to start on Actemra for my GCA. He prescribed a Quantiferon TB Golf test (IGRA) before starting Actemra. Would like to know if anyone else had to have this test before starting Actemra. Also, for those that were on Actemra, how long where you on it? Infusion

stomach bloating
I have pain starting from stomach then it seems to travel down to lower abdomen. I am very bloated, only burping or passing wind, my pain can be released a bit. The bloating is so bad, I couldn’t even breathe. I am wondering if anyone who have similar symptoms and how to relief such painful bloating.

Ear wax
Hello One reason for a slight increase in T is that the audiologist, with whom I visited today, told me that the wax in both ears is probably not helping. Has anyone had micro suction and if so, were you OK with it?

Oral Anticoagulation and Inter Cranial Bleeds - meta-analysis report
I would emphasise that this information and study ONLY applies to those who have had 2 specific types of Cranial bleeds and have AF and looks at the risks for these people versus net benefit resulting in a caution to doctors. High dose Turmeric and links to low ferritin
My ferritin has dropped from 82ug/L (30-150) 4 months ago to 64ug/L (30-264) this week (both Medichecks- Inuvi lab). Almost ready for phase 1: JHU083 (or JHU-083) a selective glutamine metabolism blocker
"The drug, JHU083, is a type of molecule called a prodrug that cells inside the body convert into an active drug. Specifically, JHU083 can only be turned into its active, glutamine-blocking form inside the tumor, preventing it from causing harmful side effects elsewhere in the body. " We all know that

Lab Tests Indicate High Lipase
Has anyone taking prednisone and Actemra had a high lipase on their routine lab tests. I’m on 4 mg prednisone and bi-weekly injections of Actemra for GCA. I get lab tests every month, and the past several months Lipase is high (usually around 60-70). I’ve done a CT scan with the dye, and was told
