Deja vu or something else?
Hi. I know you can't specifically 'diagnose ' or medically advise but I was wondering if you experience anything like this and if you know what it is. I can't get my doctor to take it seriously. I have a tbi that I got after a car crash in January 2007. I suffered a diffuse axon injury to my right

Moviprep
Got a colonoscopy on Friday as mentioned in another post and the dreaded prep is tomorrow. I’ve had many of these procedures before (had bowel cancer) but always had picolax. This time I’ve been given moviprep for the so called preparation. On reading the side effects it mentions arrhythmias can occur

Is it possible to break bad habits after brain injury?
First off I tried to post this question earlier but the link my answer was broken. We are what we repeatedly do hence excellence is a habit said Aristotle. Habits shape our lives, you are who you are because of habits, they are consistent unconscious vital patterns in our lives. For those who sustained

Advice about 4 year old
My 4 year old is still no where near clean and is still in daytime nappies or pullups (depends on the circumstances). We made this decision as she has no concept of when she needs a poo and having accidents she found very traumatic and was having a big impact on her both emotionally and socially. Most

Hi everyone, just after a little bit of insight if possible? My dad is 65, he had a bad fall and broke 8 ribs just over 2 weeks ago. He was put in the icu almost immediately as he needed surgery to repair his ribs on the right side as one had pierced his lung. That all went well then unfortunately just

International Volunteers Day. Day 5 of ' Our' Advent Calendar. A tip on how to give our busy Family and Carers our Thanks before Christmas.
Thank you Mrs Nails , one of our great Forum Volunteers , for letting us know that it is International Volunteer Day Today . I was planning a quiz , but instead I think it's a perfect time to add a few tips to help us show our thanks , in a practical way , and give a helping hand to those that help us

Why "Low Mood"?
I have a very close friend who lives with me and has suffered for the past 20 years with severe anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts etc. He has been taking anti depressants but wants desperately to stop them. Unfortunately, the gp refuses to refer him for therapy for his now diagnosed condition (BPD

Parental emotional impact of stool withholding. I'm so drained. Reaching out.
My daughter is nearly three has been on long term laxatives since the end of October for chronic stool withholding that began when we started toilet training her 8 months ago. I feel I'm getting all the right medical advice as we've seen a specialist continence paediatrician. What I'm reaching out about
