what a conundrum! Is it PMR or NOT
Recently I had aT9 fracture, pelvic fracture and a labral hip tear. No injuries, just stress fractures from osteoporosis resulting from a 5 &1/2 year prednisone use averaging about 15mg daily. I received a hip/groin steroid shot under fluoroscopy . It has been 6 days and not a lot of relief is being

SHOWERING with COPD
You don't know how I feel, I've just managed to have a shower for the first time in nearly 12 months, a very quick one but so happy that only been able to strip wash as so breathless. I'm putting it down to using CBD tincture the legal one in the UK for the last 3 days. My lack of breath is a good bit

Update: I can be such an idiot. I have not been diagnosed with PK. I have REM Sleep Behavior Disorder and my neurologist was kind enough to let me know PK is in my future (and/or LBD). My supplement list is intended to keep PK and LBD away (though truth be told my balance is not what it used to be, and

MS Hurts! 6 Health Hacks to Help Reduce Pain

No Longer on Medication
Not sure what happened.... About two years ago, NatureThroid began to (what I know now) start to be too much / overdosing. TSH was still climbing, but increasing dosage caused tremendous chest / heart pains. Not surprisingly Doctor said “it’s because we don’t know how much T3 and how much T4 is in

Does CBD oil interfere with iBrance and Faslodex like Grapefruit?
I was reading an interesting article attached here https://www.healthline.com/health/cancer/cbd-for-cancer It mentioned that taking CBD may interfere with medications especially those that have a "Grapefruit" warning such as the case with iBrance and Faslodex. I read that taking CBD and even rubbing

Has anyone with RA used Blessed CBD Medical cannabis
Hello, after 2 years of treatment I stopped my Biologic Benepali last April 2021 (after 2 yrs it caused a severe, itchy, neck, chest and face rash that wouldn't go away with Betnovate and Piriton). Later in April, I had a steroid injection and my 2nd Astra Z (no after effects) On 16th June I paid £500

24 yrs and still struggling!
I've had problems with my periods since I was 13 and have been wrongfully diagnosed twice, first as IBS then PID I've had so many operations u can play dot to dot on my scars 😂. In 2005 I was diagnosed with endometriosis, I have been passed from piller to post & had every combination of pain relief

Moving Day
Hi All, Not sure when I posted last, but Mom's progression has continuously gone downhill. At first I wasn't sure I was making the right decision, but I know I am now. She needs a lot of help that I can't provide for her here and although I know this is the next step (we both know) it's still so emotional

Young carers wanted for the PSPA Podcast
Thank you to everyone who has downloaded and listen to our first two PSPA Podcast episodes. The next episode talking about misdiagnosis will be available in July. We would also love to speak to young carers for our August episode. If you are 30 years old or under and care for a parent or grandparent

Unhelpful thoughts
What should I do when I have suicidal ideation from my anxiety? I don’t think I would ever actually kill myself or hurt myself but there have been times it has gotten close. Nowadays it is more like I am scared of the future and don’t want to exist anymore sometimes but I wouldn’t take my own life. I

Anxiety and CBD products
I have dealt with anxiety most my life on some level. It has risen the last six months. Thus far I have avoided medication. I am curious about CBD products. I have read conflicting things. Has anyone used CBD products for anxiety and what was your experience?

Drinking/eating aids?
Dear all, I don't post much on here, but just wanted to begin by thanking everyone that contributes to this forum, it has been a constant source of information but also comfort in knowing that my family is not the only one battling with this terrible disease. My mum was diagnosed with CBD January 2019
