I have just brought some tobacco -:(
It's amazing, I'm 8 months quit and earlier I brought 1/2 oz of Amber Leaf. Why?? I have been working myself up all day and it got to the point where my anxiety had started to overcome me again and I could feel a panic attack brewing. I really don't want one, but it's reassuring to know that they are

Tips on getting the most out of your Ecig......so hopefully you wont need a real one :)
I have a few tips to help you get the most out of your ecig, and hopefully help you squash the urges. Ok firstly, when filling up the tank, always remove it from the battery, otherwise the pressure makes the liquid leak out. When filling it up, try and do it slowly so all the liquid runs down the side

5 MINUTE CRAVING BUSTERS.
When you first quit smoking, it may feel like your day is one long, continual urge for a cigarette. If you pay close attention though, you'll notice that most cravings to smoke last only three to five minutes. They tend to come off the blocks strong, and decrease gradually until they're gone. There

Be totally lying if I said I didn't want a cig.
Bit of a traumatic couple of days which have culminated in my lovely 84 yr old mum being diagnosed with dementia. She didn't even know the day or month or year yesterday but was still smiley and happy,I hid in her kitchen after the G.P.had gone and had a good cry!! Just being soft.Yesterday I would have

Allergy Medication?
Hi everyone...I am new here. I was diagnosed with emphysema six years ago, and like a fool, have continued to smoke off an on. With the help of the e cig, I have weeks where I don't smoke at all, then I will break down, smoke a few, and then throw the rest out. I trust you won't berate me on my stupidity

Just thought I would pop in and tell ya how I'm doing. I'm now approaching 8 months and not much has changed a great deal apart from me doubting if quitting was the right thing to do. I'm now on my 4th cold since quitting and my hay fever is definitely worse this year. I'm not sure if its all because

E cigs
When I first thought about stopping smoking I tried an ecig. They were called Vapourlite. I then decided I wanted to get off nicotine hence going on Champix. I have got a dozen 16mg disposable ecigs each one the equivalent of 50 cigs. Wonder if they would help anyone out as they are just sitting in a

All you ever wanted to know about the e-cig
I found this today. (The link at the bottom, I never intended writing this much of an introduction to it) It will be of particular interest to anyone struggling with their e-cig, anyone who wonders why it just doesn't hit the spot like a real cig. It answers the urban myth that suggests people who

Looking for some advice, new member
Forgive me for this being extremely long. My ADD tends to get me lost in thought and I'd like to give as much information as possible for others may have been in the same boat as I'm in. I tend to consider myself a quit-smoking veteran, I've got advice for everyone but myself lol. Been smoking for 18

(Live!!) Quitting in ACTION.
If you check my earliest post (shouldn't be too hard, there's only 3 including this one.) you can read about the shape I was in just a short while back when I first quit smoking. I'd quit during a lung infection which is aparently doubley hard on the lungs and the darned things seized up on me. Chest

No fibrosis whoohoo! Never thought I would be so glad to be told I had emphysema not fibrosis. It feels like I have been given my life back
Those of you who know me will know that I have been waiting to have my appointment at the Royal Brompton. Well that was today and I never thought I would be grateful for a diagnosis of emphysema. I have been living with the spectre of fibrosis and a prognosis of 2-5 years survival. The consultant

Hello people, Here's my wee conundrum:
This is the tenth morning of Ecigs. Not a single shred of tobacco had passed my lips in that time. I only really had one evening when I mentally craved an analogue, which I put down to being stressed and in a grumpy mood anyway. .. (my darling teenager, you know what THEY'RE like). However, I'm feeling

dealing with stress
I was just curious to know what new methods any of you have developed to relieve stress? Like me, I'm sure all of you smoked to relieve stress. I actually feel less stressed since quitting, but I do get stressed very easily and really don't want to get so stressed to the point that I feel like I need

Day three and I think I'm doing ok
I had to go into hospital for surgery on Wednesday so I decided to use it as an opportunity to quit smoking, I've tried to quit before many times and failed, normally I don't get past the first week. I've been a smoker for 22 years and I hate it. I don't want to throw any more money at it and I want
