park_bear made a very compelling argument for taking P5P (active B6)
If you are going to neutralize the carbidopa in your system, it makes sense not to while you maybe don’t need extra
dopamine
in your brain. And, because I am afraid to take before bed, I decided to try first thing in the morning.

what to do?
She didn’t address that Her reply was “Amantadine versus a
dopamine
agonist such as Mirapex or Neupro patch does she have a preference. ” I have no clue. I know you can’t tell me what to do, but I’m open to opinions or experiences

Provigil (Modafinil) for fatigue 'n stuff
A little research from Dr Google and Dr YouTube and I found that this drug is a
Dopamine
Transport blocker, which means it leaves more
Dopamine
floating around in the brain instead of getting broken down or reabsorbed. It is indicated for Narcolepsy, Jet Lag, and Sleep Apnea.

observations of progressing PD for PWP......Eyes
The smooth muscles that intricately control the eye are effected as all smooth muscles and all sphincter muscles are, by
dopamine
or lack thereof. The tear ducts which are controlled by the Autonomic nervous system, fail to release tears. The eyelids become very itchy as well as the eyes.

Drug fails in Phase II trial for treating Parkinson's Disease - Exenatide (Byetta, Bydureon)
Secondary endpoints included MDS-UPDRS part I scores (non-motor aspects of experiences of daily living), clinical and patient impressions of severity, cognitive test scores, and
dopamine
transporter imaging parameters. No secondary endpoint differed from placebo at either dose.

Gabapentine or Pregabalin?
I have been down the
dopamine
agonist blind alley. My iron panel results are consistently good. I do take an iron supplement. I also take losartan and co-amilazide to regulate my blood pressure.

DO YOUR RESEARCH. Cure yourself.
Positive findings of the study demonstrated that ingestion of KSOP1009 was successful in the protection of MPTP toxicity, where this could be correlated with
dopamine
reduction that also decreases ROS and restores mitochondrial roles .

Dialysis / RLS
I ended up finding a specialist, could not tolerate any of the
dopamine
agonists, nor could I tolerate Methadone. I am currently taking Pregabalin 165mg (extended release) with a 5 Oxycodone at night (otherwise I wake up at 3am). That seems to be tolerable and for the most part work.

Stress and RLS
I'm just wondering since RLS is caused by a lack of
dopamine
in the brain, does stress and anxiety also have the same effect on
dopamine
and can therefore cause or worsen RLS?

UPDATE: Dad's Surgery on Broken Ankle Bone and Resulting PSYCHOSIS. QUESTION: How do you deal with Episodes of Hallucinations & Delusions?
Here is what seems to work best: Dad takes some form of
dopamine
every 2 hours basically, a smaller dose of SINEMET ALTERNATING WITH A SMALLER DOSE OF ZANDOPA (Mucuna Pruriens, the Velvet Bean, a natural form of
dopamine
, that is kind of like taking Levodopa without the Carbidopa, as I understand it

Wondering if dad has RLS instead of PD (or both?). Any RLS indicators here?
I'm reading a lot of comments about experiencing Augmentation from Mirapex/
Agonists or that if
dopamine
therapy doesn't work on you, you may not have PD. I've been wondering if my dad has RLS or something else instead of PD... (Or both?) -- sry for the long post ahead.

Can damaged/irritated nerves cause RLS?
If it's caused by low
dopamine
, how would my body position effect my
dopamine
level? Why didn't the Ropinerole really work by raising my
dopamine
? To me, it just doesn't match up. Any insight is appreciated. Keith

Dr Andy how to Taper off Dopamine Agonists and telling people they should not be prescribed.
Good to show doctors that they should not prescribe
dopamine
agonists . Also the previous video with Professor Allen apologising for starting people on
dopamine
agonists before he know it would cause augmentation.

I also called my neurologist his nurse said do what the hospital tells me to the problem is I have to pay almost 2 grand out of pocket for the test and i would like it to be accurate Im a nurse and it doesn't make sense to me how you could take a
dopamine
reuptake inhibitor and the test be accurate.

As you can imagine we are all traumatised , in counselling and I have made it my mission to change the way that
dopamine
agonists are prescribed. I have contacted the pharmaceutical company, NHS , Police and my husband is approaching Gamblers Anonymous with our findings.
