Peripheral Neuropathy caused by Docetaxel
How many of you had either short- or long-term peripheral neuropathy during or after
docetaxel
chemotherapy? If you did, how severe was it, and did it limit activities such as driving, writing, playing tennis (or other sports)? Also, how did you treat it and how well did the treatments work?

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Fisetin
Cabazitaxel belongs to the same family (taxanes) as
Docetaxel
(Taxotere). Fisetin might act synergistically. ... Eventually, two products came to market. Oddly, with very similar names.

Given another 18 months of life if continue treatment. Starting cabazitaxel this week. Side effects?
He reluctantly decided on Jevtana and external beam radiation even though he had a difficult time with
docetaxel
. Anyone have more side effects with cabazitaxel than with
docetaxel
? We are not that thrilled with Jevtana as his PSA only climbed and bone mets got worse while on
docetaxel
.

Docetaxel and Nintedanib
I am just about to start on
Docetaxel
and Nintedanib and have been told that this will give me weeks or months more life. I understand that the side effects are quite severe and wondered if anyone else has been on these drugs and could tell me their experience. Thanks, Lorna

Immunotherapy
I was offered
Docetaxel
/ nintednib but asked if i could have either imunotherapy or some other targeted therapy instead. I was sent to the Christie in the hope of joining a trial but was told on arrival that the trial was full.
