PSA increasing during radiation treatment
Hi all, Please refresh my memory. Can PSA increase during radiation treatment due to cancer cells dying off? Last month 0.14 and today 0.26. On day #4 of radiation treatment. Thanks!

I’m perplexed about Pluvicto
After one dose of Pluvicto, Joe’s PSA rose, and Mets are unchanged. His second dose is August 4. I asked his onc what good looks like: how will we know if P is working? When? No good answer……he’ll rescan after 3rd dose….. His QOL is lousy, from what I see, anyway. Spends days moving between

in 1980 when my dad was diagnosed with pc, I imagined he was dying and carried that in my head for the next nine years. When I was diagnosed with pc stage IVa in 2017 it took me a year to realize I was not dying… and since then I’ve continued to live a very good life. Now I’m facing my psa on the rise

Slight PSA increase
What would you suggest? You see my history in my bio. This June I added a second disease and was diagnosed with testicle lymphoma. Testicle has been removed, all tests (bone biopsy, lumbar puncture, Pet/CT) are clear. So well do four cycles of R-CHOP chemo and doctors are confident, that this will cure

Hi,In August 2019, had RRP, G4+3. Soon after diagnosed with PTSD and still struggling. Still some leaking. The prostate cancer was missed and it took 11 years to get the diagnosis. PSA rising since, now 6. Due to Ulcerative Colitis, unable to have radiotherapy, so now it's incurable. In March 2023,

Some hopeful test news:🙏🏻
My son had a PSA of 20 just 3 mo after RRP last October 24th. Prior to that we had no idea from his test results that the PC was outside of the prostate. It had gone to his pelvic lymph nodes plus he’s tertiary five. He’s been on generic Zytiga and prednisone and Lupron and finished six weeks of IMRT

just diagnosed with CKD stage 3.
hi all I have been on this sight for my husband who had prostate cancer and robotic prostatectomy 4 years ago. Due to very slight rise in PSA they did a Pet scan which showed kidney cancer, what a shock no symptoms at all, apparently until late stages there is no symptoms. Anyway he has had Nephrectomy

Update after consultation w/Royal Marsden
I promised I would address some requests for information following my consultation with Prof. Johan de Bono and his team at the Royal Marsden Hospital. The trigger was a marginally raised PSA (now 4.4) and some evidence on more bone mets, failing Enzalutamide and being offered a course of chemo (which

Seeking options/opinions
I hope you look back on previous posts and background. Finished Pluvicto in spring 23. Started out fine but went sideways. By mid May, psa and alk were on rise. MO suggested going to Xofigo but hemoglobin numbers were too low, sub 7, got transfusion. Decided to rechallenge with taxotere. (Zytiga worked

Cabazitaxel, can you return for a second round.
I was only on this chemo, Cabazitaxel, for three infusions, then was approved for Pluvicto . PSA was creeping up slowly during that time, from 63-141. Has anyone gone back to it and had success with 8-10 infusions? I am now being treated with docetaxel(50%) and carboplatin, both at a reduced percentage

Fatigue BEFORE treatment (A bit of a rant)
I was diagnosed in May, and I realized last night that I am worn out. People say prostate cancer is the "good one". They have no idea. Things move so slowly. It seems from the time you get the high PSA score something is hanging over your head. A month for MRI, hoping for good results. No. Another
