Slight PSA increase

What would you suggest? You see my history in my bio. This June I added a second disease and was diagnosed with testicle lymphoma. Testicle has been removed, all tests (bone biopsy, lumbar puncture, Pet/CT) are clear. So well do four cycles of R-CHOP chemo and doctors are confident, that this will cure me (as it’s very early stage).

Now my PC related question: I’m under Lupron and received my next injection yesterday. My last PSA tests, last one July 13th, came back all undetectable. My PSA test from yesterday came back with 0.26. I finished my first chemo cycle for large b-cell lymphoma three weeks ago and since three weeks I have to take a lot of pills daily.

Any idea if slightly increased PSA could also be a result of treatment (found studies that certain medications can elevate PSA serum level) or this is the first sign of castration resistance?

Your feedback is very welcomed.

If your testicles have been removed, then why should you continue taking Lupron? Removal of testicles serves the same purpose as taking Lupron. Lots of me opt for testicle removal instead of taking hormone to bring down testosterone.

He said “testicle” removed. Singular, not plural.

Only one testicle has been removed.

.2 or more is considered recurrence, not necessarily cr. I don't think PSA changes much in a week. Look for a trend over time. Watch doubling time. Since you are on Lupron it does indeed look like crmPC
