Bisoprolol and Digoxin
I’ve just been prescribed digoxin to take alongside the Bisoprolol which I’ve been taking for ten weeks months. I’ve been prescribed digoxin today because despite increasing the Bisoprolol to 12.5mg, my heart rate is still too high at 136 bpm. I was diagnosed with AFib in July. I’ve been reading about

Digoxin, upset stomach
My husband has been on digoxin for three weeks and has had to come off them for 7 days to see if that’s what has been causing lots of unwanted trips to the toilet for last two weeks . They have upped his bisoprolol from 7.25 to 10mg a day to see if they can eliminate the cause for 7days . I’m worried

Drug side effects
Last month I went from prediabetic to hitting 300 due to the Dexamethasone I've been having to take for my chemo treatments. My oncologist put me on metformin & it brought my level down, but now I've been in & out of the ER. Once with intestinal issues, once with chronic diarrhea & shortness of breath

Tiredness
Hi. I’ve had a few long runs of af this summer. Cardiologist put me on digoxin, ceased Bisoprolol and kept me on apixaban. I’ve also been referred for ablation. Over the last few weeks I’ve had several bouts of af lasting up to three days. Rate has been under 100 but irregular rhythm made me tired/breathless

Medication interaction
I was recently diagnosed with AF and heart failure and prescribed digoxin and Bisoprolol as well as Edoxaban and now wonder if it is still safe to start my rescue pack on top of these. I have had Doxycyclin and 8 prednisolone daily prior to this. Also as breathlessness is supposedly a side effect of

AV Node Ablation and Pacemaker
Hi lovely people, I promised I’d get back to you after seeing a cardiologist/electrophysiologist privately. As you might guess from the title, this is what he believes will solve my problem. I will still be in persistent Afib, but won’t feel it. In the meantime he has doubled my digoxin dose and I will

Bisoprolol
I've now bern changed from Bisoprolol which was causing me major problems but now been changed to Digoxin but my GP has got to speack to the cardiologist as they clearly haven't read my notes as I have a kidney disease and liver disease and not great kidney function.

Too much to take in!
A lot going on with no answers. Firstly having been diagnosed with AF in May, I had my fourth episode whilst in France a couple of weeks ago. Previous to that I was asked whether I would take part in the DOCCLA system which is an extension of a hospital ward apparently where they monitor you at home

Diltiazem as a PIP
I don’t easily tolerate medications and have tried a number of BBs and CCIs as well as Digoxin. In some sort of desperation I’m trying Diltiazem again, but I’m not enjoying the side-effects. Wondering whether anyone uses it as a PIP? I’d welcome thoughts.

Atrial Fibrillation medication
Hi, I’m not sure how to proceed here. I’m just hoping someone else feels as frustrated as I do. I was told when I was diagnosed with AF over a year ago that I would be able to live a normal life. It wouldn’t impact on me and everything would carry on as usual. I haven’t found that to be true. My irregular

Digoxin snd side effect
Can long term reliance on Digoxin ( AF and mitral valve repsir) cause uric acid levels to rise . And, can this cause rheumatoid arthritis flare up ? I made mistake of trying to understand my latest blood test results . L
