Hi. Having a bit of a rough time with AF just now. Meds changed to digoxin and Bisoprolol. Does anyone find that they’re in af when they waken? I woke at 6. Felt fine. Took meds. Woke again at7 with crazy dreams and in AF.

When I started some of my tablets I had weird dreams so much so my husband used to say well what dreams today and we sat up and I would tell him. However they settled down and now I dream rarely

Trevor is now on digoxin and bisoprolol amongst other heart pills and hasn’t mentioned anything

3 weeks is a short time so hopefully you will settle down otherwise have a word with your cardiologist or EP or 111 even GP

All the best to you

I suspect crazy dreams can set off arrhythmias, myself. I found digoxin to be really effective and better than a high dose of bisoprolol. I tend to get my AF (which is currently very infrequent, thankfully) in the evenings rather than the mornings, however. Mornings bring me lots of ectopic beats over breakfast.

I’m on digoxin and Bisoprolol (10) now. Next step is a referral for ablation.
