Using Old Prescription Vs New Prescription for Dialysis
Now the new acid jug does not follow the new prescription, the
dialysis
tech had disconnected the patient from the machine and continued with the new prescription.

Feedback on those on dialysis
I am very near
dialysis
. I have been told about several methods and wondered which is easier , also interested in those who are doing theirs at home.

Mad at myself
My Dr told me the time to begin
dialysis
varies and sometimes people can stay off for a while with healthy , I'm still very scared. I'm really mad at myself for not being proactive enough -half way watching diet and little exercise.

Issues with traceostomy and agitation
My sister has not had any issues with her other organs, or
dialysis
or sepsis etc. She had bacterial infections but responded well to antibiotics. No new infection as far as I am aware. My sister had a traceostomy last Wednesday.

Some renal dietician commentary on very low protein + keto acid diet.
Tackle the disease in a preventive (as in prevent or delay
dialysis
) fashion. 3. She put me through my paces re: my motivation. She seemed to want to be sure this wasn't a passing fad before she put in the effort.

He had a home visit from his Renal Nurse to begin the conversation about
dialysis
. I would be interested to know of any publications which use easy language to describe/explain to him the process of preparing for and receiving
dialysis
.

Group Newbie
I also have kidney failure and do
dialysis
. They’re trying to get me to move my catheter from my chest to my stomach so I can do home treatments. Has anyone done this? It seems more convenient! I’m so glad to have found this group. Thank you!

I just started home cycler peritoneal
dialysis
and would like to hear people's experiences with different products. Am considering a
dialysis
belt instead of daily use of tape, which eventually irritates my skin. What features do you look for in a belt?

Did not improve during
dialysis
and now that I recently had a kidney transplant I am hoping there may be some change? Treating it with pregabalin for the pain. Has anybody else had the same and found any improvement?

Kidney Transplant process
He is 54 years old and is in end stage and on home
dialysis
since December 8th 2020. I 'm very nervous with the transplant process, we haven't been contacted yet to go for evaluation but any advice and how the process works will be greatly appreciated.
