dhea trying to conceive naturally (two week wait)
I had just started taking
dhea
. It was my last fertile day today. Should I stop taking this for a while until I know I’m definitely not pregnant ? I’d miss out a month of medication in total. Thanks 😊

Cortisol tests
Answer is no, almost identical cortisol results, though
DHEA
has gone up a lot to almost within range. Interestingly, I DID take my NDT morning dose normally before the 8am test and there's no difference to the morning result. Any insights to be gained from comparing these tests?

IVF Cycle Failure/Fertility Diet
I'm not keen on trying
DHEA
as I don't want to take a 3 month break, additionally melatonin messed up my sleep. Does anyone have any diet advice? I know I need to improve this - Mediterranean diet has been suggested in another group. Thank you

DHEA max levels & info from my clinic
So I have googled a lot of the posts in this forum on
DHEA
and it seems to be the general consensus that
DHEA
is worth taking (I have been taking it) but that when it gets too high it can intefere with egg quality, which is a concern.

These results and medication may look a little strange but I’ve been on
DHEA
and I think it’s improved my uptake or made some sort of difference.

INSULIN TOLERANCE TEST - Low cortisol & chronic insomnia
I have low cortisol, also oestrogen and testosterone (despite HRT) and
DHEA
. I’ve had a Short Synacthen Test, which I passed as most thyroid people do. So I now know the problem doesn’t lie with the adrenals. I presume it’s with the pituitary. I have read about the insulin tolerance test.

First Fet failed and now I am considering
DHEA
and a final cycle before my last Fet. I would really appreciate your advice on this. I am restarting my supplement regime again. This whole process is so exhausting. Wishing baby dust to everyone xx

DHEA/Cortisol
I’m definitely re-checking full thyroid and vitamins but am also considering
DHEA
/Cortisol testing. Are there any special instructions I should follow before testing? Any recommendations for a company to use? My fatigue levels and crushing morning depression are a big problem currently. TIA 💐

DHEA test - any particular day ?
I am planning to get my
dhea
tested - is there any particular day this should happen ? I would like to start taking before I look at my next options. My testosterone is 0.7 which is at the lower range so should be fine: is there any point in a test ?

I’m currently taking HRT transdermal oestrogen,
DHEA
tablets and progesterone tablets. I also started taking b vit complex, methylated folate, niacinimide, omega oils.

cortisol blood test
Also my
DHEA
of less than 10 was completely sidetracked by GP. Very little hope this saliva blood test will be useful. Grumpy and tired and hungry and fed up. 🥰

Irregular period after failed IVF
I've since been advised to take 3 months out and focus on the quality if my eggs and take
dhea
. Again since then I've had 40+ days cycle and now I'm on Day 49. This is so unlike me and I'm scared. Could I be suddenly approaching perimenopause or could this be an affect of IFV.

Just spoke to a Spanish clinic and while they offer a whole lot more (PGT-A testing, double stimulated cycles, uterine tests etc) I got the same vibe: come off the
DHEA
, all you need is a multivitamin and folic acid, your diet doesn't matter but good to follow if you do get pregnant, at your age it's

Dhea and Ivf advice please
Disappointed is an understatement but considering taking
Dhea
and consider another cycle before Fet. I am so exhausted by this and would love to hear if it worked for you. It's been a hard journey.
