dhea trying to conceive naturally (two week wait)

Hi everyone.

This month I am trying to conceive naturally due to my ivf being put off two months due to Christmas closures at the clinic.

I had just started taking dhea. It was my last fertile day today. Should I stop taking this for a while until I know I’m definitely not pregnant ?

I’d miss out a month of medication in total.

Thanks 😊

Hi Cuppptee. Often a specialist will recommend two months of DHEA before treatment commences. Your specialist will discuss this if needed. Good luck. Diane

Thanks Dianne, I have started taking it as I have a second round in January but I have tried naturally this month so just wondered if I should stop taking during two week wait x

Hi. Probably no necessary now, just beforehand, but see what your specialist says. Diane

I was taking it ready for IVF and then conceived naturally, but I had always continued taking it whilst trying naturally and did so up until I found out I was pregnant (3 weeks post ovulation) xx
