Given T3 to try with thyroxine but given little advice. Also have adrenal issues which possibly hampering treatment. Help please.
In last few years also been diagnosed with mitochondrial problems and more recently an adrenal stress profile test showed low cortisol and low
DHEA
. After recent blood tests I have been given liothyronine to take, 5mg in morn and then again early afternoon. I am presently on 75mg of levo.

Desperate for Cortisol saliva test advice.
I do have low
DHEA
and am taking that with Pregnenelone so I don't think I need to test that. But also part of my treatment includes Zinc and also Ashwagandha. Which I believe have opposite effects on Cortisol levels.

Best diet for hypothyroid?
I have below range
DHEA
and my adrenals were a little low. I'm thinking low carb but I can't completely give up carbs (i love porridge). I don't eat wheat/gluten as it definitely effects me.

I hate my life, I hate the way I am feeling, I mean I have had depression in my past, but thus far nothing has been as it is at this point, I don't know whether I am coming or going, can just about stay up. Its not good to feel this low, all the time:( Emotionally I feel so low, I forgot what it feels

A bit exasperated...advice please?
Hi all, I wonder if I could maybe just vent a little and also maybe get some advice for which direction to go next. I feel like I have been round the houses, as I'm sure many of you have also felt. Having paid to see a private thyroid doctor, who then referred me to an endocrinologist - who both said

Hashimotos and Adrenal fatigue
Have also started Adreno max,
DHEA
, NutriAdrenal, Progesterone Cream amongst a few other supplements. Anyone else had any joy with these supplements, if so how long before you saw a difference? Or has anyone managed to overcome these conditions? Just want some energy and want to feel 'normal.'
