Gaining weight like crazy - have no thyroid due to cancer
I have been trying for 6 years to get my body normal and switched doctors often to try and get help. I am 30 years old. After having my thyroid removed for cancer 6 years ago, I started on Synthroid in 2012 and gained weight and had depression. I was on 150 mg of synthroid and my blood showed free

Praying for 3rd time lucky!
Hoping the 5 months of
DHEA
has helped and we get a decent fertilisation over night. Feeling ok at the moment slight cramping so just taking it easy for the rest of the day. Hope you are all well whatever stage you are at. Jac x

Some More Info on Odd Things That Can Cause or Aggavate Anxiety & Depression
Among them are: Cortisol,
DHEA
& testosterone. I wanna mention a hormone that gets no attention. Aldosterone is actually an important hormone produced by the adrenal glands. It is responsible for maintaining your electrolite balance & proper blood pressure among other functions.

Cortisol and DHEA
I wonder if anyone succesfully improved his balance between stress hormones and sex hormones by making lifestyle interventions like diet, vitamins, meditation alone, maybe even without using hormone replacement therapy (
DHEA
and pregnegolone)?

Poor fertilisation with ICSI
On the day they didn't say anything about morphology of the sample but said it was borderline for IVF and suggested we do icsi to increase fertilisation I took supplements including
DHEA
and ubiquinol and ate anti-oxidants.

Labs post TT and high DHEA
I’ve also recently did a 4 point saliva test which shows my
DHEA
is slightly high at 306 (range 106-300). I’m thinking I’ve got potential adrenal issues which could be stopping me converting properly? Anyone had high
DHEA
before? Not really sure what it means.

Self medicating and really struggling.
I recently had a cortisol blood test and saliva test and it showed high cortisol I have low
DHEA
and testosterone results. I’ve read Dr Peatfield book that until you sort out your cortisol problems no medication will help.

Advice on Testosterone/progesterone results
DHEA
Sulphate 3.840 (0.26-11.00) Cortisol Saliva Test (4) waking *23.800 (6.00-21.00) 12pm *7.920 (1.50-7.60) 4pm 3.370 (0.00-5.49) before bed <1.5 (0.00-1.99) Thyroid Results - I know when on T3 people say they are irrelevant, stopped my T3 12 hours before blood test.

Effects of contraceptive pill on thyroid beyond interaction between oestrogen & levothyroxine
- Deplete levels of selenium and zinc - Cause oestrogen dominance - Change flora which can allow yeast and pathogens to flourish - Suppress testosterone - Lower
DHEA
- Deplete folic acid, B12 and B6 And most interesting to me currently, the progestogen only pill (referenced in the article as pills

Sorry DHEA again
I have been on
DHEA
for 2 weeks and I'm slightly greasy faced and a few spots just waiting for my beard and baldy head to appear. My cycle has changed a bit ovulated on day 14 instead of 12 so hoping maybe stretching to 27 days. Im so hoping this is going to help and not hinder pregnancy.

Dhea-Which One?!
Doctor doesn't believe
DHEA
has been proven to improve egg quality but she said it doesn't harm to try. There's so many different
Dhea
supplements, which is the right/best one and how many mg a day should I take? Sounds like this will be my last try before thinking about donor eggs....
